Situé sur la rivière Mississippi, le chalet se trouve dans un endroit paisible. Il possède 3 chambres à coucher à l'intérieur, cuisine complète, salle de séjour et salle à manger. La salle de bain consiste en une toilette, un lavabo, et une douche (pas de baignoire). Un grand porch donne sur la rivière. Le terrain est grand avec plusieurs arbres pour bénéficier de l'ombre, et une petite plage ensoleillée pour les bains de soleil. Excellent pour la nage. Donne sur le sud. Descente de bateau à 2 km. Location de kayaks disponible sur demande. L'eau est peu profonde (jusqu'à environ 5 pieds de profondeur les 10 premiers pieds) puis au bout du quai, l'eau est d'environ 8 pieds de profondeur... excellent pour le plongeon. Le chalet est situé à 3 minutes de Lanark (magasin général, LCBO, location de films) et de Mal's Camping (bois à brûler, location de films, magasin général, cantine, ); 10 minutes de Pert (épicerie, LCBO, Tim Horton's, Shoppers Drug Mart, Canadian Tire); 20 minutes de Carleton Place (Wal-Mart, épicerie, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, restaurants, LCBO, Beer Store et Shoppers Drug Mart); et 40 minutes d'Ottawa. Deux terrains de golf à proximité (5 et 15 minutes respectivement) : Timber Run Golf & Counry Club, Blue Heron Golf & Country Club. Pêche : brochet/ achigan

| If you want a fully equipped, amazing cottage with a beautiful view from a screened in porch, this place is perfect! Strong wifi, comfy beds and only a little more than an hour from Ottawa. The call of the loons at night as you sit around the campfire with family and friends - it doesn't get better than this. We even caught a few fish off the dock. Close to Perth and Balderson's Village Cheese Store. Norm is a great host - we are already planning our stay for next year!!

| Wonderful spot! I stayed here with a group of friends, and it was a fantastic place for us for the week. Everything we needed was in the cottage (except for what was pre specified of course) There was enough parking for all of us, and we just loved all the outdoor space. Swimming was amazing! I HATE swimming with weeds, and right off the dock was perfect, deep and clear. The cottage was clean when we arrived, and Norm was very quick at responding to answer questions we had while we were there. Would definitely recommend to someone else considering this place.

| We spent a wonderful week at this cottage and were very pleased with all it had to offer. It was clean and inviting and the kitchen was well equipped with anything you could possibly need. It was just the right size for us, providing comfortable bedrooms for all, and lots of space within the cottage to relax without feeling crowded. A variety of recreational equipment was readily available. There were also a number of indoor games and decks of cards for indoor fun. The screened in porch was great, especially this year as there were a lot of mosquitoes due to the wet weather we've been experiencing. We were very lucky to have had gorgeous weather all week, so we were able to enjoy the beach area. The previous review ( written by another renter last year ) had suggested that a rake be provided and it should be noted that there was indeed a rake, and we did use it! Thank you !
We rented the cottage next door ( same owner ) last year and this year, were once again very pleased with the friendly and helpful hospitality we received.
We highly recommend this cottage and plan on renting here again next year.

| Rented this cottage for one week in early July 2016 with my husband, toddler son and mother. It was as described in the pictures and met our expectations. The screened in sun room was perfect for those evenings that you wanted to be outside without being exposed to bugs! We were very happy with the variety of recreational activities available which were perfect for my family: badminton, Frisbee, basketball, horseshoes, fishing rods, inflatable tire for swimming, pool noodles, tire swing and a fantastic outdoor fire pit. Plenty of wood available to make fires whenever we wanted. Appreciated the dock and walk in sandy beach area.The barbecue was pristine and great for cooking. Thoughtful tourist materials in the cottage to plan excursions. One suggestion would be to leave a rake to allow us to clear up any weeds or vegetation that wash up on the beach.
