The booking process went very smoothly, and the owner was extremely professional. The cottage was exactly as described and the photos were spot on. A very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Rob

This cottage was a nice find. It is in a great location for touring around the Kawartha Lakes region and Talbot Lake is small but beautiful with lots of wetlands to explore. The Lake is generally shallow but a canoe / kayak can easily reach all of the shores and it is fun to weave around the islands. We were treated to a good assortment of animals and very much enjoyed the loons. The skies are also dark enough to enjoy some excellent astronomy. Just sitting on the dock at night with or without binoculars was such a welcome reprieve from the lights of Toronto.

When we arrived we met our hosts, Holly and her husband, who are very responsive and had the cabin ready for us. We will definitely consider coming to stay again.

We were 10 people that stayed there for two nights. Cottage was very clean and Holly, Owner , was always available. We had enjoyable time special with different kind of boats. Quiet area and only 10min drive to grocery store just in case you forgot something. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for quiet and relaxing area.

Clean, spacious, and well equipped with all kitchen/home supplies. We enjoyed the foosball and air hockey machines, BBQ, and a beautiful sunset. The lake was beautiful and very clear - you could see the glistening reflection of the woods and skies from the water. The host is nice and communicate well. Will definitely visit again.
