| Family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed for 5 nights. Chris was the ultimate host with supplying information and getting back to us with any questions. The cottage is much bigger than the pics let on and it was very clean. Lots of sleeping options available which was nice with adult size children. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, the living room was comfy and the wood stove amazing as we had 5 rainy days. The lake is beautiful but not friendly to propellers if you take your own boat. There are many unmarked rocks and the depth changes on a dime. Chris has lots of options with a canoe, kayaks etc. The fishing is exceptional (and I'm not super into fishing). Using worms, we caught perch, large/small mouth bass, and blue gill. Using a lure, my son caught a 40inch Muskie right off the dock. There were two fire pit areas and lots of seating, a deck that would have been amazing to eat on (had it not been for the rain), and lots to do. Norland is less than 10 mins away and has a small grocery store with lcbo, a nice looking restaurant, and a bait/tackle shop. Chris was a host I would highly recommend.

| Our stay at The Cabbage cottage was amazing. The house was clean and had all the amenities you could need. There are boats and a kayak, fire pits, a hot tub and a great wood burning stove. Its well maintained cozy and comfortable yet spacious with a great kitchen and private property feel. Chris was very responsive and helpful and everything was perfect for our arrival. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, we will be sure to book again soon!

| Wanted to say thank you for the great time.
Our family's of 5 stayed and we had a very nice vacation at the cottage.
It was very clean and spacious.
All the water toys you would need to get out on the water.
Lots of space to play catch etc..
The water was clean and great swimming right off the dock.
And to add to the fun caught a really nice sized smallmouth right off the dock and some walleye by the small islands.
Again, great time and look forward to renting in future!

His promptness in answering our questions after sending my booking request was truly remarkable, and it made us feel valued as a guest. His willingness to accommodate our requests and even offer helpful suggestions for activities at the cottage was greatly appreciated. | Our group enjoyed a relaxing 3-day stay at The Cabbage in early June 2022. The cottage was clean and spacious with a lovely outdoor eating area. We took some gorgeous photos at night by the fire pit close to the lake and made lasting memories. Thanks again to the owner, Chris, for being so kind and accommodating for us.
