| We stayed at John and Darlene's beautiful cottage for 2 weeks and had an amazing time! Cottage was spotless and all amenities were there! The furniture and beds were very comfortable with extra linens for our stay. Loved all the added touches and was thrilled to visit with our host one day! The beach is one of the best along the Northumberland Strait with loads of sand bars for strolls when the tide is out. The property is private as well as beautiful and we enjoyed a number of fires in the new fire pit. We cannot wait to return again next year!!!

| We had an amazing stay at the cottage. It is so cozy, has everything we needed and more. We loved the proximity to Pugwash. The view is outstanding and the beach was more than we could have hoped for. Darlene kept in touch and was so easy to deal with. We have already booked a return visit.

| Cannot say enough good things about our stay at this cottage. First of all the weather for the week was absolutely perfect. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations. To say it was well stocked is an understatement! They truly thought of everything. The beach was a dream and the water warm. We walked the beach everyday at low tide and collected shells and beach glass. Everyone in the area was friendly and the nights were quiet. The sky at night was amazing-filled with stars. We can't see ourselves ever renting anywhere else! The Moore family.

| Darlene's cottage is absolutely perfect. The cottage is located on a large piece of land set back from the beach but just a few steps to the ocean. It offers much more privacy than other cottages in the area on or near heathers beach. The cottage is very large with so much space. It's got a wonderful cottage feel and lots of room for everyone. The cottage is stocked with everything. The tides were amazing and sunsets and sun rises on the deck were wonderful. We had perfect weather and enjoyed every second of this beautiful location and will recommend to anyone wishing to stay in this area.

| We loved this spacious and comfortable cottage! Lots of room to spread out for reading and relaxing, and plenty of space for preparing and eating meals together. I especially loved the sunroom in the early morning with my coffee and book. Washer and dryer are an added bonus, but the cottage was well-stocked with towels and bedding, as well as, everything you need in the kitchen. We had fun playing with our eight month old grandson in the sun and sand, and enjoyed many walks on the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous! Lots of lovely shops and eateries in Pugwash and Tatamagouche to explore.The Northumberland Shore is our favourite summer destination and this cottage is the perfect place to enjoy all it has to offer!
