| We stayed at the cottage for a week beginning on September 5. The cottage is very comfortable, clean, well equipped, has good wi-fi, and great views on the lake. We had been wondering if the lake would be very busy with motor boats, etc. during the long weekend, but in fact it was quite peaceful. We went swimming, canoeing and kayaking.
Mel was very quick and helpful in answering any questions we had. In all, we had a very good stay.

| First, the renters were amazing, if anything went wrong, they were right on top of it (there was a blip with the AC that was resolved immediately).
The place was clean, sanitized, disinfectant was left out in case we wanted to do a once over given the pandemic.
You will want water shoes due to rocks and mussels, but other than that the water is crystal clear and I have never seen so many fish. We caught large mouth, small mouth and rock bass right off the dock. While we never targeted them, there was plenty of bluegill as well.
When we were not fishing, we were swimming or out on the boat.
It was worth every penny.

| The cottage was amazing!! There was lots of room for our family of 8. The huge water front yard on Sand Lake has a dock to sit on and watch the birds and beautiful sunsets. It was great for kayaking (beach is within minutes), fishing and floating around suntanning. Foley Mountain is within 5 minutes and has an amazing view of Westport. Check out the bakery - Boston cream donuts are to die for!!! Best family vacay ever!!!!!! Thanks for the memories!!!!!!
