Dale and Anne were very welcoming when we first arrived at cottage. They told us the best spots to eat and have us ideas of things to do while there. They left wood for us for the fire. It was a great experience for our first cottage experience

This is the 2nd year we've stayed at Anne's cottage in Port Franks and we love it! The cottage is perfect for our little family. Anne always welcomes us with a warm greeting. She and her husband are super quick to respond if any issues arise. We ran out of propane and a new tank was delivered to us the next day. The newly installed central air really helps to keep the cottage cool on the hottest days. And the beach in port franks can't be beat! Most perfect beach for young children. We had a wonderful week and hope to go back again next year!

We rented this cottage for a family vacation. The cottage was very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was so great as it was a warm week. There is a beautiful beach to enjoy which is a short distance walk. All correspondence with the owners was positive and it was nice to meet them on the day we arrived. I recommend this lovely cottage to anyone who wants to enjoy a week vacation at the beach. Thanks again Anne for sharing your lovely cottage for us to enjoy.

Very nice cottage, well maintained and very clean.
The owners go out of their way to make the guests happy.
We've had an issue with the A/C I reported it immediately to Anne and 3 hrs later we come back form the beach and there is a new A/C installed.
I think that story says it all. Highly recommended.
We will be there every year from now on.
Thank you Anne and Dale for making our vacation so great!

We loved our stay in Port Franks! Owners of this place are so welcoming and make every effort to ensure you enjoy your stay and have everything you need.
The cottage is very clean and plenty of space for a family. Air conditioning was much appreciated on the hot days and there is a big clothesline in the backyard for hanging wet stuff after the beach. Beds are comfy and every room is equipped with fans. Only drawback was a bit of noise from attached cottage - made nap time a bit tricky for our little guy.
Make sure you bring things like cooking oil and salt and pepper and coffee filters. Kitchen is well equipped with gadgets and pots and pans. Might want to bring a few serving bowls.
The beach is about a 10 min walk with young kids and a beautiful sandy beach. We had a combination of calm days and some with good waves so something for everyone.
Parking is limited at the beach so some days we drove the family down and then parked back at the cottage and walked back to save the walk with kids and gear.
All in all we had a wonderful week and would definitely return to Anne's cottage. She and her husband were so hospitable and clearly working hard to ensure you enjoy your stay!
