| Being right off the lake is very peaceful both day and night. The actual cottage was clean and cozy and had great open space for a family gathering.
We definitely appreciated and enjoyed the fireplace indoor and out :)
The lake is very calm and serene and it was great to have access to the canoe, kayak etc for leisurely purposes
The property also offers great opportunity for hiking through the forested area. We loved that we could see the stars and constellations right from our bed

| I just have to begin by saying that Lisa and Ryan are the best hosts I've ever had. We had a few small problems and they responded very quickly and really went out of their way to fix any issues. The wifi went down and I texted Lisa who responded within 2 minutes. She checked with the provider and informed me of a tower outage and provided the estimate of completion. When got stuck in the gravel due to misjudging the driveway width, we reached out to Ryan who responded immediately and waited with us until we sorted the situation.
The cottage itself and its location are very nice and the views from the deck and the dock are incredible. We spent the week on the dock since it offers expansive 300 degree views and faces north so you can have your choice of sun and shade, depending on how far to the end you sit. The beds were comfortable and the cottage offered everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Teenagers will enjoy canoeing out to the 'jumping rock' that's just a few hundred feet from the cottage - it's a section of Crown Land that many people take their boats to and jump off the huge rock.
The only caveat I would add is the accessibility of the cottage for any seniors or those with mobility problems. The stairs down to the dock are steep and so are the stairs to the cottage. But other than that, it was an enjoyable stay, especially with responsive hosts.

| Our family of four has rented numerous cottages over the past 10 years, and Wollaston Lake Cottage was absolutely one of the best!
The cottage is as shown and described on the website and was extremely clean when we arrived. The cottage was light and airy, with big windows offering a beautiful view of the sky and lake both from the living room inside and the deck outside. Rooms were clutter-free while still having everything we needed for a week; the mattresses were relatively new and very comfortable and the wifi/smart tv worked well which made the teenagers happy. We used the paddleboards and kayaks to explore the lake at least once a day and jumping off the dock was weed-free. All in all, this cottage and its amenities were exceptional; we're hoping to book again for Summer 2024!

| Our stay on Wollaston Lake was great! The cottage was very clean and the view was breathtaking! We brought our 18ft bow rider which fit on the dock. My suggestion is to launch the boat and drive it over as the road to the cottage is narrow and the driveway very steep. The lake was like glass the entire week and amazing for water sports. We did catch some very large (4.5lbs) pike x3 and 1 Walleye. The beds in the cottage were very comfy! A blender would have been great and possibly a longer dock so the ladies can tan more! Lol. All and all we had a great week and Lisa was amazing to deal with! We also were able to see Fireworks from the water which was amazing way to end the week! Thanks again for having us Lisa!

| We booked our stay at this Kawartha Lakes property based on the previous reviews and the pictures of the lake view. We were not disappointed! The cottage contained all the amenities we required during our stay, including water toys for our time spent on the lake. The swimming is excellent and the entry from the dock provides for great diving opportunity. The fire pit area opens to your own private abode for nights spent gazing at the stars. The cottage is well supplied and offers ample room. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. We really enjoyed our time and hated when we had to leave.
