| My family and I spent six days at this beautiful four-season lakefront cottage. Lovely views from the living room, dining room and master bedroom. There are plenty of spaces for privacy as well as for mingling. The lower level is a nicely renovated self-contained suite (perfect for my son and his young family). The mature pines surrounding the rear of the cottage leading down to the water give a feeling of being nestled in the woods. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night.
The dock area is expansive and provides a great spot for fishing, swimming if it's warm enough (water is very clear) and dark sky stargazing. While pedal boating and kayaking, we saw a great blue heron and loons. It was peaceful and pretty with the fall colours. It's also a short drive to Burleigh Falls and Marble Rapids. Overall, it is a clean, cozy and well-appointed cottage that we would highly recommend. The listing description is accurate and the host, Mike, is friendly, accommodating and responsive.

| My husband, son, and I spent a magical few days at Mike and Kathy's cottage this June, and it truly lived up to its name it's a Jewel on the Lake! From cozy evening campfires to refreshing swims in the lake, every moment felt like a peaceful escape. Mike was an amazing host and very responsive; He quickly answered any questions we had.
The cottage was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed dishes, cutlery, BBQ, coffee maker, even a washer and dryer which made our stay so easy and comfortable. We loved spotting wildlife right from the deck and dock, including loons, red squirrels, herons, and chipmunks. It felt like we were right in the heart of nature.
For rainy days, there was a great selection of DVDs, fast Wi-Fi, and Netflix to keep us entertained. A grocery store was only 15 minutes away, and firewood was easy to grab nearby as well.
We had such an amazing, relaxing time and left feeling completely recharged. If you're looking for a lakeside getaway full of charm, peace, and comfort book this gem. You definitely won't be disappointed! We are already dreaming of when we can go back again!

| Had a fantastic time here this past weekend! The cottage, the views and the dock were stunning. Very quiet area which made it even more relaxing. The cottage was spacious making it comfortable for everyone.
The experience of renting this cottage was great from
the time of messaging Mike, who is very kind and answers quickly, to leaving today. I will definitely keep this cottage in mind for next summer!

| The dock was beautiful, the lake was lovely, the kayaks were lots of fun to use. The firepit was amazing, we used it every night. The bbq was great and we loved the view from the deck. We slept in comfy beds and with all queen beds everyone had lots of room. Lots of little games and things to entertain yourself inside with. An outstanding refuge from the city, we hope to stay another time!

| I recently stayed at a cottage and I have to say, it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had. From the moment I walked in, I was taken aback by the stunning views and the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The cottage was well-maintained, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful scenery. I was able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and fully immerse myself in the tranquility of the countryside. The outdoor spaces were a real highlight, with a private patio and garden, providing the perfect space for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air.
I was impressed by the attention to detail in the cottage, with high-quality furnishings, comfortable bedding, and all the necessary kitchen appliances. The host was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay.
