| I recently stayed at a cottage and I have to say, it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had. From the moment I walked in, I was taken aback by the stunning views and the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The cottage was well-maintained, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful scenery. I was able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and fully immerse myself in the tranquility of the countryside. The outdoor spaces were a real highlight, with a private patio and garden, providing the perfect space for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air.
I was impressed by the attention to detail in the cottage, with high-quality furnishings, comfortable bedding, and all the necessary kitchen appliances. The host was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay.
Overall, I had a fantastic time at the cottage and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape. The host's warm hospitality and exceptional customer service truly made my stay unforgettable. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

| Mike and Kathy are great hosts. Emails were responded to very quickly and they are extremely accommodating. This cottage is very spacious and exceptionally clean ! The kitchen has more than enough of everything you would need. The kitchen table is large and absolutely stunning. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs. All beds are queen sized and very comfortable. We all slept like babies. There is a powder room downstairs and a full bathroom upstairs. Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. The furniture in the tv room upstairs are so comfortable you don't want to get out of it. There are 3 couches downstairs as well as a tv, which we didn't use. But I believe the couches could fold down to become beds. I went there with my gal pals for a little get away mid November so we didn't get to take advantage of the outdoors. Instead we had lots of snow which looked so beautiful as it fell upon the trees. It was very peaceful there which is what we were going for. This place did not disappoint at all. We hope to visit it again in the summer months. Thanks again !!

| Our family was desperately trying to find a last-minute peaceful place to get away, that wasn't too too far from Toronto and that was also pet-friendly. Mike came through for us and we are so grateful. The cottage was picture perfect -- definitely a "jewel" -- and our teens were happy they could each have their own bedroom! There was a lovely fireplace (though it was too warm to use it), and the view down by the water was spectacular. We heard and saw a loon every morning, and even caught a blue heron! We had a lovely bonfire one night, but only once because we had rain for most of our stay. But when the weather cleared, the kids enjoyed looking for frogs and using the kayak on the peaceful water. Everything we needed was provided, and whenever we had a question, Mike responded very quickly. He notes in his description that the steps are kind of steep... they are... but you get used to them!
It was exactly what our family needed. Highly recommend.

| My family and I stayed at Jewel on the Lake the third week of August. We loved the cottage. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I've stayed at other cottages that were not as clean and well kept as Mike's cottage.
If we had any questions, Mike (the host) would answer promptly. He was super helpful and friendly.
We will definitely return!! I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to book a relaxing getaway on the water and not too bad of a drive from the GTA.

| Jewel on the Lake was just that ....a jewel. It was very clean and welcoming. Lovely communal spaces with wonderful views through the trees to the lake. The dock and the lake itself were very inviting. We enjoyed lots of swimming and paddling. The firepit was great and the stars were fantastic. It was just what we needed for our extended family. Thank you Mike!
