| This is the perfect little cottage and the perfect location. Walking distance to everything and access to the beach!
The air conditioner cools the place down in minutes and the bed was soooo comfy! Melissa was always so accommodating and very willing to answer all my questions.
We would definitely book here again!

| Our stay at this cottage in Port Dover was a delightful experience from start to finish. The location couldn't have been more perfect ? within walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops, and the main beach. It made exploring the town incredibly convenient, and we loved being able to wander around at our leisure.
The private beach access was a real bonus, especially when the main beach got crowded. The landing at the bottom made it easy to set up our belongings and enjoy a day by the water hassle-free. Unless the tide is low, you'll find yourself on a grassy area elevated above the water but there are stairs down to the sand, where you can get in. It gives a different perspective to your normal beach day.
While the outdoor patio space was lovely, providing a nice spot to relax and unwind, the close proximity to neighbors meant there wasn't as much privacy. However, this was a minor drawback in the grand scheme of things - no one bugged us at all anyway but worth noting.
Inside, the cottage leans heavily into its rustic charm, which, while quaint, may not be to everyone's taste. Also, the shower was a bit tight, it was a minor inconvenience in light of all the other wonderful features the cottage offered.
Overall, this cottage is an excellent choice for a getaway in Port Dover. The convenience of the location, the hospitality of the host, and the overall charm of the cottage are so worth it. We would happily return for another stay in the future.

| Port Dover Lakeview cottage did not disappoint. Location was fabulous, walking distance to downtown, theatre and main beach not to mention the private beach associated with the property. Beautiful deck with a fantastic view overlooking the lake. Melissa is a wonderful property host and was readily available to answer any of my questions. A perfect getaway! I could even see the palm trees from there! Thanks for a great and relaxing time feeling very safe and secure being there on my own. I will be back.

| We really enjoyed our stay. Melissa was an awesome host and very friendly. The view of Lake Erie from the deck is fantasic and the beach was so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this cottage. The cottage is small but very cozy and relaxing. Once again Melissa thanks for everything...Cheers

| I had the pleasure of spending an extended visit at this cottage and couldn't say enough great things about my experience. Melissa was so kind, informative, and supportive and made sure my stay exceeded any expectations. Amazing view of the lake and pier welcomed each morning and sunset. The cottage had all the kitchen amenities you could ever want, had a very cosy bed, and was very clean. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cottage rental.
