Marie

We stayed at McClure cottage from August 12th to 19th 2023. The reaction when we first entered was "wow, what a great choice". The cottage is huge. The bathroom is brand new with a free-standing shower which is very accessible. The kitchen is better equipped than my own kitchen. The highlight of the cottage is the huge family room with floor to ceiling windows on 3 sides & several large comfy couches. It feels like you are sitting in the forest.

The deck is as beautiful as in the pics. There is a tall mature hedge which provides total privacy. My favourite time was an early morning coffee on the deck watching the fishing boats silently drift by -- along with the flock of ducks & pair of loons. I think there is a really good fishing spot in the middle of the lake in front of the cottage. The property itself & waterfront is very large - I think it might be a double lot (not sure)

The hosts are very friendly & accommodating. They have thought of their guests needs when stocking the cottage -- even provided pods for the dishwasher! We will certainly return in the future & highly recommend McClure cottage

Just stayed at this cottage the week of July 15-21st. It was much more then we had expected. The cottage itself was very large with lots of bedrooms!! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, even the kids and dogs!! It's hard to find a cottage that allows 2 big dogs, but the owners were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this cottage!!
