We arrived at the cottage with 2 adults and 2 young kids. The kids loved their room and used the bunk beds.
The cottage is located on a large grassy yard with a close frontage onto the river. The dock is safely secured to a sandy shoreline of the river. The dock is a perfect height to swim off of, tie up paddle boards or other lake toys too.
The cottage had all the essentials to make cooking throughout our stay easy and town was a short drive to pickup goodies.
Odie was clear and helpful in my email communication back and forth and made the transaction easy and was very trustworthy.
Arriving at the cottage was an easy drive. Overall, we were very happy with the cottage- it was a comfortable stay and I would recommend this cottage to my friends and family.

We have had the pleasure of Renting this Cottage for the last two summers in 2021 and 2022. We are booked back again this August 2023. I'm not one to make a review but we absolutely love this cottage and quaint area and private location so much ? it just wouldn't do justice to the wonderful rental owners or the people missing out on an opportunity to rent it. If your looking for a quiet and private place to come with your family and get a way this is it. It's small and just right for a young growing family. It provides the real deal cottage experience but not such a far drive from home. The calm clean water access is perfect for our little guys. The cottage is clean and quaint and just how I pictured our family enjoying our summer vacations at a cottage year after year. It has everything you need including air conditioning which is great on the real hot days. There's a closed in dining area I appreciate so we can enjoy meals outside and the dock and decks and play gym for kids to enjoy. It's on a private road so nightly walks are really nice as a family and safe with little ones. If your looking for a nice reasonably priced cottage for your family look no further. Gull River Cottage will not disappoint!!! We can't wait to head back this August!!!!
