| We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy a much-needed week of relaxation. Our time at the Half Moon cottage in October was filled with discovering a plethora of beautiful sights on our daily hikes, followed by returning to savour the breathtaking view of Crystal Lake from the deck.
The meticulous attention to detail in equipping the cottage was truly remarkable. We not only found everything we needed but also delightful extras that made our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. Avril, our host, demonstrated an exceptional level of care and thoughtfulness to ensure that we had a delightful experience, and she was always readily available. We hope to go back!

| We chose this Kawartha area cottage because it was only 1 1/2 hours drive from our home to enjoy a week catching up with our brother who was visiting from Australia. Such a lovely place for him to experience a bit of Ontario cottage life. Situated right on the lakefront, the open concept cottage was modern, comfortable and clean featuring a beautiful westerly view from the front deck. It had all the amenities of home. We hiked and kayaked the bay every day and spent many hours sitting on the dock with our Aperol Spritzes in hand. You will love it!

| When you rent Half-moon Cottage, you will discover that it is more like a stay at a resort than a cabin. Almost everything is supplied or can be used if necessary. As with the entire facility, products are of the best quality. The kitchen is fully equipped. Thought has gone into every element of this newly renovated home steps from one of the best lakes in the Kawarthas. There are two kayaks and two paddle boards, with PFDs, paddles and the required safety kits. Swimming is great off the sunny dock. When the sun goes down, there's fire pit on the point, in addition to board games and an excellent audio-visual system, which links up to your laptop with reliable internet service. The nearby towns of Kinmount, Minden, Bobcagyeon and Fenelon Falls provide distractions for cloudy or rainy days - a quirky multiplex movie theatre, great museums, other amusements, and several supermarkets to resupply yourselves. It's a unique experience that will not disappoint!

| Half-Moon Cottage is the perfect place for that much-needed summer vacation. Located right on the water, this newly renovated cottage ticked all the boxes for my group of friends. Whether we were spending time out on the dock swapping stories, playing euchre inside as the night wound down, or getting some time out on the lake with the Stand-Up Paddleboards, we made memories that will last a lifetime. I can't say enough about the location of the cottage, and it helps that we had beautiful weather the entire stay. We even spotted a few loons on our last day!
The host, Avril, was incredibly pleasant to communicate with. Instructions for the cottage were simple and easy to navigate. The host was available when we had questions, and she really made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant one. The appliances in the cottage are fully functional and work as expected, and I must give a special shoutout to the extremely comfortable and serene hammock.
I had a hard time saying goodbye to Half-Moon Cottage, but my group is already planning for our next stay. We can't wait to get back to Crystal Lake and make some more memories.

| Booked Half Moon Cottage for a family weekend in May. We were 5 people in total all adults and there was plenty of room for us to be comfy. The cottage was recently renovated and it looks amazing! Well done Avril! Not too fancy but perfect cottage chic.
Amenities were all there and operational. Beds were comfy and the property was so well maintained. It rained on the Saturday so we stayed indoors and played cards, games and streamed movies from our laptop. Wifi was strong. Spent Sunday on the spacious dock where our lab could easier get in and out of the water. She had a blast!
Avril (our contact) was so organized and professional. Every question we had was answered promptly and thoroughly.
