| The cottage was an amazing experience from start to finish! The layout was beautiful, recently renovated, and felt truly luxurious. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and ready for us — from towels, shampoo, and soap to all the little details that make a big difference. The water activities were a highlight: the boat, paddle boards, and canoe were all in excellent condition, and the life jackets were brand new. The hot tub was large, perfectly clean, and felt like a real treat. Having a basketball court, playground for kids, and bicycles made the stay even more fun and added another level of luxury. The entrance ramp with its lovely lighting created a warm, romantic atmosphere at sunset.
A few suggestions: the bedrooms are on the smaller side, and the mattresses felt old and uncomfortable. The upstairs bed is great for kids, but not ideal for four adults. Most ping-pong balls were broken, and the rackets weren't usable; a convertible ping-pong/billiards table would be a fantastic upgrade. The PlayStation was outdated and could use an update, the main living room would benefit from extra seating for a group of 10, and adding a sound system would make the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, this is an incredible cottage for a luxurious and memorable getaway. Special thanks to Damian for building such a beautiful place and making this experience possible!

| We had the pleasure of celebrating a 40th birthday with our extended family at this cottage. Damian was an incredible host and generously provided coffee pods, detergent and a welcome gift. The cottage was fully stocked with all essential items from kitchen items to indoor games, you truly only need to pack clothes and food. The layout of this cottage was perfect for larger groups as the 3 levels made it feel less crowded and gave the opportunity for different activities and conversations to occur at the same time. The outdoor amenities were incredible, the children absolutely loved the paddle boards, kyacks, floating island and hot tub. The water off the dock is swallow with a swallow entry. The family enjoyed the basketball court along with the outdoor games provided. We traveled with 4 families from 5 years old to 70 years old and everyone had an incredible experience, we will certainly return and 100% recommend this cottage.

| Had a fabulous time at Doe Lake Cottage! The cottage has everything you need. We were 4 adults and loved having a basketball court for added entertainment! The lake is so peaceful. The hot tub was so crystal clean and a wonderful way to end our evenings.

| Cottage (entire property) does not disappoint! Fully equipped, lots of different space(s) for larger groups to spread out. We were a family of 10 and had plenty of room.
The property is stunning and incredible views of the lake from almost every room in the house.
Lots to do from ping pong, basketball and kayaking. Plenty of outdoor seating and loungers.
Cottage was very clean and bedding was fresh as well.
Lake is a good size and very fresh water. Didn't smell at all. We rented a motor boat and the launch is a very quick drive. (2 minutes up the road) My suggestion for anyone renting a boat is to get a container of fuel as the lake doesn't have access to a marina. Our boat was too big to travel to Little Doe Lake where we could fuel up. Lack of rain may have made the lake levels lower than normal.
Gas station with convenience store was 5 minutes drive and dump is about the same. Huntsville is about 25 minutes away if you want to experience a cute very active town.
Owners were a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and put our minds at ease. Our first time using Canada Cottages so a different process.
