| Kaitlyn was a wonderful host. She is very detailed with instructions and easy check-in/check-out. It was so peaceful and relaxing from the moment we arrived. The multiple outdoor sitting areas were perfect for all weather and we enjoyed each one of them. Gazebo on a deck at the rivers edge has lovely patio table and 6 chairs. We used the Campfire pit which was a great location for star gazing. The 7 plastic Adirondack chairs were very easy to move to the dock or extra seating in the shade. The patio sofa & chairs, 2person lounger with umbrella on the large deck were another favorite spot to relax and take it all in. The bunkies were a great addition for extra company or an area for teens to hang out or someone just wanting time alone. Great childrens activity areas to keep them occupied and safe. Swimming was fantastic with a flat rock bottom, no weeds and so clear. There is a ladder for entry, also great selection of aquatic toys. Great TV options for rainy days or for after dinner movie. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and lots of dishes etc, cooking -BBQ tools and pots and pans. Service with Data and Wifi in this area are a bit limited - so be prepared to unplug and be present. Wish we could have explored the area more as such amazing places to visit, Perth, Smiths Falls, Westport and everywhere in between. If travelling from Ottawa through Port Elgin there are 2 osprey nests to keep an eye out for.

| Full disclosure - this is my sister's cottage, lol, but still deserving of a great review since my husband, our 2 kiddos (ages 14 and 11), and our senior dog (especially her, she def lived her
best life while there!) thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay. Lots of private outdoor space to decompress from the city. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy nature. Lots of fishing and interesting bird sightings too!

| We just returned from a very relaxing 2 week stay at this beautiful spot. The cottage is fully equipped and has everything you need and more.There is lots of outdoor seating including a great gazebo right by the water. We spent a lot of time there playing games and getting relief from the heat . Swimming was great no body weeds !! We were there during a very severe storm . The owner checked in making sure my family and I were safe . That meant a lot . This cottage is only 15 minutes commute to Smiths Falls for groceries or whatever you need. I would definitely recommend this cottage . I plan on returning next year .

| We had the pleasure of spending a week at this cottage recently. We arrived on a clear sunny Saturday, the cottage was very nicely done. The lake was very clear no weeds whatsoever. Nice dock for your boat if you have one. Unfortunately for us we ended up with a couple of very cool days that we had to put the heat on (can't change Mother Nature). I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage.

| Beautiful cottage with the most excellent views of the beautiful and calm Bass Lake! The cottage was clean and well stocked. Plenty of little extras like water inflatables and board games. Massive tv for evenings after the fire. Very impressed with the entire experience. Will definitely be renting again :)
