| From the moment of initial iniquiry to the final check out communication, this host was excellent. Very accommodating and professional. The cottage is beautiful, very spacious and clean. We had a wonderful mid week experience with the family to unwind. Loved the views from inside the cottage but especially from the dock. We had rain one of the days but enjoyed one of the board games provided and the kids enjoyed the games room and air hockey. Fire pit accommodated entire group. The lake water was a bit cold already, so we only enjoyed the pedal boat and kayak provided. Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely return. Thank you.

| Our family of 8 had a lovely time at the cottage. It ended up being larger than we expected from the pictures. I mainly communicated with the host Phillip and he was very accommodating and overall great communication. Our main highlights would be spending time at the dock fishing, making use of the kayaks and the kids enjoyed the pedal boat. The cottage was very clean, kitchen was well stocked (we love to cook), and the game room came in handy as we had one full rain day. The view is lovely from both the kitchen and the front deck as I enjoyed my morning coffee. Would visit again!

| Firstly, I will say that Philip was very responsive & accommodating before, during and after. Possibly my best interaction with a host ever.
PROS: Small hot tub for colder/rainy weather and the trampoline was a fun bonus for the kids! Air hockey/pool was fun, (despite there being only one queue with felt). Kitchen is well stocked, AC worked well, beds and bedding were soooo comfy, and everyone had great sleeps! Fire pit is large and BBQ is in great shape. Dock is good and having a kayak & canoe was fabulous - trips were taken almost every day!
CONS:
- road you cross to get to the lake is a two lane highway (speed limit goes from 80 down to 60 for this particular stretch)
- floors throughout aren't level (slope in the kitchen is the worst) so vinyl's chipping in high traffic areas
- upgrades have been done, but remain uncompleted (paint doesn't go all the way to the floor in the main bathroom, shower isn't caulked at the top, trim around patio is awful but covered with crooked curtain rods, etc).
- Main patio door does not lock. It's not broken, there's just nowhere for the lock to catch!
- The 'stairs' down to the dock are solid enough but the railing was MacGyver'd.
It should be noted that the water is *very* silty and quite shallow and the dock doesn't have a ladder so you have to walk up through the ankle-to-knee deep sludge to get out. Host recommends water shoes but then junk just gets trapped in there.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn't visit again.

Regarding any small paint or caulking touch ups and not level curtain rod we will take a look as that's a quick fix. | The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for the week. The bedrooms were decent sized and beds were comfortable and linens matched the theme of the rooms. Having 2 bathrooms for 8 of us was great. The extras in the game room keep everyone having fun. The kids had so much yard space to play outside and enjoyed the trampoline everyday. The view of the lake is stunning. The walk down to the dock was steep when carrying things and was across a moderately busy road. Once you are on the dock you won't notice anything but the beautiful lake. Just a heads up there are rocks not marked if you take a boat or jetski like we did so you have to be cautious in some areas. We had a fabulous week and would do it again in a heartbeat. Owners were easy to get a hold of and so easy to work with.

| Family fun and non-stop smiles all week. What a special time in the Kawarthas. This cottage is a proper cottage.SOOOO many sweet details in the cottage, it's so comfy and a place we felt we were in a proper little oasis. It allows for all of the cottage amenities, space for our family to enjoy, proper kitchen to prepare good food and tonnes of space to enjoy outdoors. The location is perfect. At the end of the bay, Head lake is quiet and allows you to enjoy the Kayak and Pedal boats. We spent so much time on the dock but more than that, so much time enjoying just being there. The bon fire pit, trampoline and hot tub added to give options when the weather wasn't ideal to be down at the water all day. Thank you for such a special week. We cannot wait to come back.
