| Wow, what a relaxing experience our stay was! The cottage is beautiful and stocked with anything we needed for a home away from home. Both my children were thrilled at the rooms. It's very clear from the little things that the owners address any feedback - one room was a bit warmer than the rest and it had two silent fans. Gate on the back porch meant much less worry about our old dog escaping. A few doors down is the old mill, which is an art centre and has great trails behind the little waterfall.
The bathroom off the master suite is nice and big, a very functional mix of modern and cute cotyagecore vibes. Powder room is super cute. The balconies were an enjoyable place to relax and check the weather. The yards are very well designed, a chill little slice of nature. Pool and hot tub were good sized and trouble free. The whole family is already asking when we'll be back!

| We had so much fun at the Alton House! The kids played in the pool all day long, every day. When they weren't in the pool, we were playing baseball and frisbee in the HUGE backyard. A few mornings we walked up to the local coffee shop and had delicious treats and warm coffee. The house had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. It was such a pleasure to relax the week away in the sunshine! Thanks for being a great host Paige!

| We loved our stay at this unique and beautiful cottage. The host is responsive and a pleasure deal with, and the house provides you with everything you might need. It is very clean and the pool/deck is situated brilliantly. Location is convenient while very private and peaceful in the backyard (which faces the sparkling, rolling river). Easy walk to coffee, a small restaurant, and The Millcroft Inn, where you MUST try the breakfast! 10 out of 10 - would book again!
