| We loved this place! Location, right on the water, the place had everything we needed & it was big & roomy. I will definitely return! We were a bit off-season, so we missed out on water sports, but still absorbed the sunrise's & sunsets, awesome!! We drove & hiked the Cup & Saucer (this was our favourite adventure), we hiked Bridal Veil & Misery Bay also.. We checked out Mom's Bakery, the Chocolate shop (near Bridal), everything is really not too far from our stay?our host was amazing, easy to contact & quick responses.. I can't wait to visit the Island again, maybe next summer. :)

| Renting a cottage can make anyone a little anxious. Of course you get a few photos but there's so much that photos don't show. In this case, the place is actually miles nicer than its photograph.
Our family recently spent a week at this cottage. With four adults, a two-year-old and a dog, you might imagine things would be cramped but the opposite was true. The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the building, with two bathrooms strategically located to ensure maximum privacy. Central are common rooms with all the conveniences--modern stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Rustic is nice, but who wants to be doing dishes when you can be canoeing and swimming? The waterfront is a safe distance from the cottage and easily accessed down a beautiful new set of stairs. There's a long dock you can swim off, and the water is so clean and clear that you can actually see the bass swimming beneath you. There's very little motorized traffic on a wide bay that's so quiet you might believe you're alone.
This place is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the natural world. And if you want a change of scene you can take a short ride to Gore Bay and visit a top-notch museum, a funky brewery or an artist's atelier. Or you can take a five minute ride to the Perivale Gallery to look at some first-rate Canadian art. Not bad for a day trip.
It goes without saying that our family feels lucky to have found this place and to have spent our vacation there. And we plan to return.

| Manitoulin is home for my family - and this was our first opportunity to bring our children back to Manitoulin in 5 years. The Vista cottage was a phenomenal choice. There were heaps of activities to entertain us. The facilities were impeccable, and well equipped for our stay.
The host was easily accessible for any questions which arose.
The Vista is also ideally situated on Lake Kagawong for water activities, we were in the water multiple times a day. We were able to access adventures across the island! Will definitely rebook at The Vista.

| We had a wonderful holiday. The cottage had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed the trail that was right at the doorstep. There were so many things to do: canoe, kayak, horse shoes, badminton and many more. The new steps to the lake were a great addition so we could enjoy the dock with the beautiful view of the lake. It was a time to spend time with family, relax and have fun. Lise was awesome and welcoming, she was there for anything we needed.
