| Beautiful Cottage, we originally booked for 5 nights but ended up reaching out and adding a 6th while we were there since we loved it. Its very well located and it took us about 4 hours to get there from Montreal. Very quiet with lots of space our dog was able to run around freely. The kids had a blast as well since we got hit with the massive snowstorm we were out playing in the snow. Everything was great the cottage had all the basic amenities needed.
Dale, the owner, was always reachable and helpful if we needed any information or help with anything.

| Absolutely amazing experience! We stayed here for New Years (Dec 30-Jan 3d/2025), and could've made a better choice.
HOST: very friendly, personable, flexible, responsive, always available when we had questions.
HOUSE: exceptionally clean and fresh; feels very organic, and you can tell every corner is designed carefully, with beautiful accessories (we especially loved the dishes and all the wall art!); lots of kitchen pots/pans/dishes/cups/glasses; more than enough towels and bathroom supplies; fresh linen; more than enough storage room, with hangers in closets; no problems with heat or water supply; tons of board games for families. In case you struggle with asthma: this was the 1st place ever where I had ZERO symptoms, it made a huge difference.
AMENITIES: we enjoyed the sauna, made BBQ, used the fire pit to roast marshmallows. Everything is in a great condition. The walkout to the water is so stunning and picturesque too: big tall pine trees at the back, light lines all over - magical experience. Lots of space at the front of the house, in case kids need room for running/playing sports.
Nothing but many thanks to the owners for letting us stay at their beautiful place.

| Our entire family of six (plus dog) was extremely pleased with our one week very relaxing vacation. The amenities and attention to detail were very much appreciated. We were very conscious of the cleanliness of the very warm atmosphere in this home. The house is very well equipped, there is everything you need for your stay. The small town is also only a 10 min drive away for groceries, dining and shopping.
Beautiful water view and clear waters! Everything you're looking for nature feeling is in this cottage. A place to get away from city living. We had a great time, filled with fun and laughter - truly a wonderful experience. We even kept busy on the rainy days with the outdoor sauna, and well stocked assortment of puzzles and games with the kids. The cottage owner is very pleasant and quick to answer any questions.
Highly recommended - 5/5 stars!

| Lovely cottage, spacious with all of the amenities, including a mother's dream of a dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Well located in a quiet country road on a huge property that is Lakeside. Close to Bancroft and close to activities.
Host was easily accessible for questions, but we didn't have many as the cottage is well appointed

| Where to begin.. It was BEAUTIFUL, quiet, fun and relaxing all in one! It was the getaway we had all been wanting.
We stayed here with 4 adults, 1 infant, and 1 dog. The cottage itself was perfect for us and child friendly - Dale even provided us with a proper crib and baby items for our stay. Everyone was extremely comfortable and we all truly "slept like babies" here. The cottage has everything you need (and more).
Being in close proximity to Bancroft was helpful for anything we needed to pick up.
The cottage grounds are very spacious, grassy, and flat. The smell of fresh forest air and sounds of nature, makes you feel so good. Night time fires and star gazing are not to be missed.
The lake is AMAZING. The water is so incredibly clear and NO WEEDS! You can either walk in gradually or jump in off the dock.
If anyone asks us where to rent a cottage.. we are recommending this one! Dale is very kind and hospitable, the cottage is wonderful - what more could you ask for?!
