We stayed for 3 weeks last August and loved every minute of it. The bedrooms are all comfortable. The living room is set up that it accommodated everyone in our group. Kitchen is situated that you are still able to converse while preparing meals.
We stayed here 2 years ago and were so surprised to see the new and improved front deck. I have to say that was everyone's favourite space. Beach is so nice with the bridge as a backdrop for pictures. We spent most evenings heading to Seacow Head lighthouse (5 min drive) for beautiful sunset pictures. The cottage location is so central for touring around. Can't wait to go back and see the exciting changes you have planned for next year. It feels like a home away from home.

Beautiful cottage just steps from the Northumberland Strait. Very shallow & warm waters. Great spot for kids. The cottage was very well appointed. The king bed was a bonus. Very comfortable. Our son & children enjoyed the guest room beds as well. Very good location for getting to Summerside for food shopping. We stayed 4 weeks, so we ate in most nights. Everything we needed was provided to help make that happen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.

Our family of 4 had the best stay here. Such a perfect location with a beautiful beach just steps away - low tide was a favourite for the kids. Cottage was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our week long stay. We can't wait to come back!

Spectular sunrises, sunsets; minutes from the beach; spacious rooms, all very well maintained; many thoughtful necessities (washer & dryer) provided. The "Dunes Hideaway" is a gift, the kind of place that wraps itself around you like a warm hug, welcoming you in. In four short days we have become islanders and cannot wait to return to this beatiful place and the beautiful people of Prince Edward Island.

Just spent a wonderful week at Dunes Hideaway. The cottage was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped and we felt very much at home. Enjoyed nightly family time around the firepit. The beach was spectacular and such a short distance from the cottage. Enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Our only problem was that a week is not enough to enjoy the island and all it has to offer. Looking forward to going back to Dunes Hideaway for a longer stay next time.
