| We had the pleasure of staying at Sunset Lodge over the winter break during New Year's. It was the perfect size for our family and truly had a cozy and inviting vibe from the moment we entered the space. The kitchen is fully stocked with essentials for meal preparations, very clean and spacious. The best feature is the living room area which welcomes you with a large picture window overlooking the lake below. We enjoyed looking out to the beautiful, scenic views that Muskoka has to offer while sipping tea next to the charming, wood burning stove.
The cottage was also stocked with entertaining board games which our family spent hours each night playing. It gave us the opportunity to spend some much needed quality time together away from devices.
Our hosts, Shauna and Ken were very friendly and accommodating. They answered all our questions while offering suggestions for activities and dining options in the area.
We had a very comfortable stay here and look forward to future opportunities to visit again, perhaps during other seasons as well.
