| Woodland Hideway is a very nice cottage, very clean and well equipped. This cottage is quite spacious with a good size deck overlooking the lake. The water was quite shallow and weedy at the dock which made getting the boat in and out a little more difficult, but we've been told that the water level is significantly lower this year due to the lack of rain and hot temperatures, so I don't think this is the norm. The neighbours to the right, Bob and his wife, were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Bob will even sell you firewood for your bonfire is you like. However, the neighbour to the left was a different story. She came over to tell us she didn't like the sound of our jet ski and we should run it in a different part of the lake. When we weren't agreeable with this she called Carlos and complained. He then messaged us to please be considerate of the neighbours. As there was no-one being inconsiderate (the skis were not being run anywhere near the docks) I found this rather offensive and surprising that Carlos would entertain such nonsense.
So all in all, if you are looking for a nice cottage with an awesome view to come and sit quietly I recommend Woodland Hideaway but if you want to bring your toys and have some fun on the lake, you might want to keep looking.

| Spectacular view of the lake. The cottage is spacious, well equipped with comfortable beds, lots of towels, awesome kitchen and many other amenities. Excellent fishing. Nearby Sandy Lake beach offers lovely, warm water swimming. During our stay we were fortunate to have great weather, a full "buck" moon and lots of fire flies to dazzle us around the campfire. Our family of four had a wonderful time.

| We had a fantastic stay at Woodland Hideaway. For our family of four and a dog, the cottage was more than roomy enough for everyone to spread out and enjoy some quiet time. The well equipped kitchen meant everything was at hand and we ate in more than intended, often content to gather at the big kitchen able and watch the boats go by on the water. Glorious!
When we felt a bit restless, easy fishing lay at the dock or a short drive away and the towns of Buckhorn and Bobcaygeon were close by when you wanted to pick up some supplies or browse some shops.
Carlos was fantastic to work with and we received frequent updates and information from him-very much appreciated when you haven't rented a cottage in a long time.
We will definitely keep this on our "must do" list and would highly recommend to our friends.

| Everything about this cottage is great, we were a group of 8 with plenty of room inside, plenty of dishes, cutlery, bedding and towels. The outdoors sports a spacious lawn, great fire pit and docking for our 3 boats. Plenty of parking for our 3 trucks, boat trailers and car.
The fishing was amazing. We also enjoyed leisurely walks in the quiet neighbourhood. Bob the neighbour made sure everything was as it should be and helpful with any questions we had.

| Non-Negotiable's for our group of 6 were as follows:
- Spacious accommodations
- Access to great fishing
- Outdoor spaces
- Close to Groceries/General Store.
This property checked every box and offered some extras that we didn't know we needed. During our stay, we had several days of intense heat and direct sun, thankfully, the backyard is lined with beautiful tall trees which provide ample shade to enjoy the outdoors without roasting. The fire pit and accompanying Muskoka chairs were the perfect evening hang-out spot. The neighbours, (specifically Bob) were pleasant and provided valuable tips to increase our chances of landing fish. Very much appreciated.
Our host was a great communicator and provided prompt replies which made the booking process rather seamless. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone and everyone who wants a place to relax and enjoy the nature that Ontario has to offer.
