| This was our first vacation as a couple to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and my birthday. I want to start by saying this rental exceeded every expectation. We are parents to 6 beautiful children and we live a very busy life but coming here was pure food for the soul. It was an absolute paradise. The land is beautiful and spiritual you will feel all your troubles and stress instantly melt away. The 4 days we spent was the most peace we've truly ever felt. The place was clean and exceptionally beautiful. The hosts Mark and Taylor have put so much love into every inch of the property inside and out. We absolutely loved having our coffee with the feathered friends that had bird seed already ready and waiting for them. We slept so comfortably and fished for an entire day in the beautiful cedar canoe and pulled in some northern pike and bass. We explored the vast gardens and were so happy that firewood was provided and they had so many more useful things like games, life jackets, flashlights even had 2 local beers cold and waiting for us. We can't recommend this place enough we've sent it to over 100 people because we think everyone needs to experience just how incredibly peaceful it is to immerse yourself into natures goodness. We left feeling refreshed with a new perspective on how glorious life can truly be. We will be back no doubt about it. Thank you for giving us an experience of a life time. We are better people and parents for having those 4 days of pure peace. Thanks

| Our stay at Hattfield's Hideway was just what the mind, body and soul needed. From the beautiful gardens, the hot tub, sauna and the beautifully eclectic décor of the cottage, we felt thoroughly refreshed and relaxed after our two day stay. Mark and Taylor have thought of everything to make a mini retreat great. Can't wait to go back!

| If you are looking for the best couples vacation destination with access to a beautiful lake, lots of amenities (Hot tub, sauna, canoe, kayaks, adirondack chairs, bbq, espresso machine, huge shower, etc) look no further! This cottage is for you. My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights at this gem and we just want to go back. The clear lake, huge balcony, and flourishing vegetation have made this vacation memorable. The cottage is very clean, well furnished and equipped, we couldn't ask for more. We will be back for sure!

| I had a wonderful time at the Hideaway! The hot tub was lovely. The bed was incredible comfortable and the kitchen was wonderful. I loved spending my mornings on the deck looking out over the water and trees and just listening to the sounds of nature (even if they were angry starlings, mad at me for keeping them from their bird feeder :)). The host is very communicative and the arrival was seamless. Their welcome book puts most hotels to shame in its depth and detail. And their garden guide was also a delight. I highly recommend this cottage for a getaway into nature.
