| Hello,
My family and I enjoyed the peaceful tranquility of Serenity Beach House. It was welcoming and in fine form when we arrived.
The amenities were very nice, we wished there was an actual oven and stove top for cooking inside on rainy days and a fireplace to get cozy to watch movies would have been great. Be sure to bring your own plastic cups and napkins, paper plates as well because the kitchen is equipt with glass glasses only and no dishwasher. Unfortunately, the water was very low due to the lack of rain we haven't had. Not one of us swam or even attempted to get into the river all week, it was simply just too rocky (in a dangerous way) and not that welcoming. If you are bringing your dog be sure to bring a long lead for it. Very bush area.
We missed seeing sunsets from the deck as well, there were just simply too many trees for the view of the sunsets and the cottage does not face West. The cottage is a great get away from the city life for sure.
We brought our own infinity chairs to sit on as the stylish low lounger chairs they have are not overly comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, but not a thick extra blanket for the King bed in the master bedroom for more warmth.
The owner Trevor did show up unannounced after four days into our stay to bring back garbage cans and leave us more blue bags and an older man came and took the garbage cans which we were not informed about. It was startling at first as the cottage is tucked in its own space.

| Unfortunately only 5 stars available. These hosts deserve so much more ! Very attentive to our needs . When we arrived , cottage was so clean and very esthetically presented . Well named , Serenity. We had a very restful relaxing stay . Lots of wildlife to enjoy ! A most memorable Fathers Day weekend ! Definitely on repeat for us !!!

| Beautiful views, modern amenities: This beautifully renovated cottage was better than we expected for our family of 6. The setting is very private, the sandy beach is inviting with comfy chairs and a fire pit and the entry to the water is easily accessible for swimming and water sports. There is also a large dock for swimming off of or docking your watercraft. The host is exceptional, attentive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.
