| My rating is based on a mixed review. The cottage itself and the property are beautiful. The dock, the beach, the fire pit area are so gorgeous. We really enjoyed them. Inside the cottage is very comfortable and it has a great layout. We loved that there was an abundance of blankets throughout the cottage so you could snuggle up on the cool fall evenings. I debated whether to knock off one or two stars for the lack of kitchenware. We love to cook nice meals when we are up at the cottage and it was a bit of a struggle. The frying pans should truly all be thrown in the garbage. There are no actual barbeque utensils, not a single measuring cup, or measuring spoons and no blender or at least hand mixer. Also there is a very bright light on the back deck that we could not get turned off. You have no contact with the owners and the property manager didn't know how to turn it off so we had to cover it with a towel because it was shining in one of the bedrooms. This place is such an amazing property and we really did enjoy our time. I hope that the owner and property manager will take this information and improve this experience for others. Also beware that this is a boating thoroughfare. There is pretty much nonstop boats going back-and-forth. We enjoyed watching them but it may be a concern for families with young children swimming as the waves come in pretty hard when they fly by.
