| I rented Kevin's cottage for a week in August 2025 for a family gathering of seven adults. The property met or exceeded all of our expectations. It is a fantastic location and the description and photos depict accurately what awaits. My communication with Kevin was always courteous and timely and the information provided was very helpful. My damage deposit was returned within 48 hours.
In terms of the cottage and location, we really enjoyed the experience. The house is maintained at a very high standard, with four well appointed bedrooms and almost everything one could imagine is already there, be it in the kitchen, bathrooms (two en suite and one main), entertainment, games, etc. There is no TV (nor was it missed), but the internet was able to stream video with no difficulty.
The waterfront is also superb with a large array of kayaks, paddle boards, etc. The steps down are as described in the ad and I would note that my elderly parents were able to negotiate the steps down to the water daily with a little support (no railing). The lake is fantastic, quiet even during one of the busiest weeks of the summer and it offered excellent swimming and lovely sunsets. We spent most of our days there.
In summary, I highly recommend this cottage.
