Our family of seven loved our week at Sandy Cove! We've always wanted to stay in a dreamy A-frame style cottage like this. The panoramic views of the forest and lake with those floor-to-ceiling windows - it felt like we were up in the trees with the birds! While cooking in the kitchen or hanging at the dining table, we could bird watch with the kids.

A great cottage for a family or group of friends. Very clean and spacious! The open concept gave tons of floor space for the kids to play and expend energy, super handy on rain days. It was very comfortable and convenient for our family with kids. We didn't need to bring anything as the hosts provided everything - a crib, high chair, double stroller, packnplay, baby gate, plates and cutlery for littles (our kids are 18months and 3.5 years old). Most cottages only have a stand up shower - really appreciated that it had a tub for bathing kiddos (we also bathed them in the jacuzzi tub which was so fun!). And it was helpful being just a few minutes from a town which has a great playground.

We were most impressed that all three bedrooms had gorgeous lake views! Even the pull-out couch on the lower level/basement had a beautiful lake view, as well as a deck for sipping coffees in the morning. Also the most comfy beds! Where are your pillows from We need them :)

My family and I had an amazing week here at this cottage. It is very cozy and comfortable. We had good luck fishing on the lake and enjoyed the excellent weather. Town is only 15 minutes away so we took advantage of the playground and bakery there, as well as the frozen yogurt shop. We barbecued almost every night and slept in very comfy beds. We're so glad we took our week off as family here!
