| We really enjoyed our stay at Wampeer Lodge. A quaint old cottage with a lot of history on beautiful Lily Bay. This cottage was very clean! The beds were comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped: pots & pans, airfryer, keurig, utensils, pretty much anything you need. We had use of the barbeque with barbeque utensils.
Large yard in front of cottage. We played a few games of Corn Hole, Trivial Pursuit. There are games and puzzles provided. We didn't do any swimming because it was chilly, but the swimming area is sandy
Doug & Susan were there to greet us and to check us out. Very friendly: we had Doug's phone number should we have any issues: we had no issues
We look forward to our return next year!

| My brothers and I grew up on the river in Brockville and we love returning to this well equipped cottage every summer. It's rustic, casual and so relaxing, true cottage living in the old fashioned sense, where you may give up a bit of privacy for the pleasure of rekindling family relationships. Great swimming, paddling and easy to nip into town for visits to old friends or groceries.

| If you are looking for unscripted downtime this may be the ticket . Peace prevailed leaving space for a proper ponder within a dollhouse setting . The natural pool of the lake could not have been better if you enjoy the authentic experience that some call 'wild swimming'
Zero expectations were flipped over . A big win .
Simple made it sweet . Clean made it great .

| Once again, we had a wonderful time at Wampeer Lodge! The cottage has everything you need, is so well maintained and is so cosy! Our children and grandchildren were able to visit us while we were there. Everyone had a great time swimming and playing in the yard.
My favourite thing to do was sitting in the beautiful red chairs sipping my morning coffee and watching the boats go by!
Thank you Debbie and Doug for letting us enjoy your little piece of paradise.

| We are a smaller family who were looking for a quieter, less frantic holiday visiting family in Eastern Ontario. Location was central to all the relatives. Reading books, listening to the loons at sundown and waking up to a heron on the rocks were some highlights. Swimming was great with a sandy bottom. We took in a play at the Gananoque Playhouse and a boat tour in Rockport on the same day. We've stayed at other cottages where the owner wasn't there when we arrived, which sounds OK but it's even nicer to have the owners welcome you and give a short tour to familiarize you with everything. Even though Brockville was only 10 minutes away we didn't spend a lot of time in town. There were some classic board games in the bookcase which brought back memories and lots of laughs. It was nice to just be, and not have every day packed with activities. Good value for the money and we have booked another week for this summer.
