| This cottage is spacious and the layout worked well for our family that consisted of 2 couples, 2 singles and 1 child. The area is well treed, private and quiet. All appliances were in good working order and we appreciated not having to pack bedding and indoor towels since they were provided.
The cottage guide not only had rules and instructions which made everything clear but also some attractions and amenities which were helpful as this was our first time in the area.
There is lots to do in the area. The things we enjoyed doing: visiting the Haliburton Wolf Sanctuary, the Haliburton Arts and Craft Festival, shopping at Cottage Country Log Cabin in West Guilford and Robinsons General Store in Dorset, the Sculpture Forest and Pioneer Village at the Fleming/Haliburton School of Arts, hiking on some of the many trails nearby, the Minden River Walk, ice cream at Kawartha Dairy and enjoying the beautiful view of the forest while relaxing in the hot tub at the cottage.
The one small (unavoidable) problem that came up was dealt with promptly and communication was fast.
I would recommend this cottage without hesitation.
