Séjour fantastique et très bon accueil. Châlet tranquille et bien équipé. Présence de deux salles de bains pour 4 très apprécié même si une toilette ne fonctionnait pas. La véranda aérée permettait de profiter de l'extérieur même en cas de pluie grâce aux grandes fenêtres. Seul regret , ne pas avoir pu faire de feu dehors du à la sécheresse. Un conseil, ajouter des ustensiles pour manger le homard ( le presse-ail a un peu souffert). Accès privilégié à une grande plage pour nous tout seul quasiment avec 69 marches (et non 80) pour se mettre en forme. Petit village sympa avec un petit marché typique le samedi matin et une bonne boulangerie. Plage Blue Sea corner à recommander ainsi que la bière de la brasserie à Tatagamouche..

The sun room is always a nice addition during sunny weather, wind and rain. Sorry you weren't able to enjoy a bon fire, due to the province wide burn restrictions. We need rain very bad.Hope you make it back here again. It was a pleasure meeting you and your friends. Thanks again, Darlene.

The description says "cosy waterfront then says on minute stroll to the beach
The cottage is on a corner lot
One side is a laneway used by the owner and another cottage owner and access to the stairs to the beach
The other corner faces a gravel road for other cottage owners that drive by
The owner of the cottage is next door
The fire pit faces the the road where other cottage owners travel
The stroll to the beach is alittle more than a minute as you have to walk down the lane way and the down 80 stairs
Two bathrooms are great as long as they are both are functional
One toilet was not operational within24 hrs ones our arrival
I did say there was no rush to repair the same day
We left and it was still not repaired
Oh so if your are taller than 5'3" brace your head as you go up the stairs to the bedrooms
The ceiling is sloped
If you plan to use the laundry facilities
You may want to check for mouldb on the rubber rim of the washer
There was a5 th wheel parked in the back of the lot. -- not sure if it was occupied
The fire pit is a plus however under huge trees and it was quite windy.
The screened in porch is a plus however the cushions and throw pillows were dirty
A lot of dust and cobwebs on the ceilings and fans
Spiders frequent the place
The fence is falling down in one area
Would not return
Would not recommend for young children or elderly parent
80 stairs are going down and longer going up
Kept me fit

As we discussed about the second toilet, further repairs would involve the deck being torn up, and a backhoe, as I have tried the more simpler things first. I thought the toilet was working. I can't imagine you being O.K. with these proceedings to do the repair.
The slope to the ceiling is along one side of the steps, but if you were to stay along the left side, there should be no problem. In checking this out, I stood on the top step, and was able to touch the ceiling/slop with my knuckles clinched. I am 5'4".
The mold was imbedded into the rubber in the washer, and I had to pour straight bleach on it to get it out. Not best for the rubber. The stain is not harmful in any way.
The 5th wheel is going to be sold, is out of the way, and has absolutely nothing to do with the cottage rental. I still have no idea why you would think it was being occupied. It hasn't been used in over a year.
The cushions and throw pillows in the screened in porch were stained with mildew, as the dampness from the rain comes in. There was a couple of mud marks, as if someone put their feet on it. The cushions were washed, before retiring the porch for the winter. Bleach can't be used on this material.
Yes, the ceiling fan were dusty and had cob webs. An over site on my part. I have no control over the spiders or wind.
Fence is fixed.
If you have mobility issues, ask questions. Beach steps are common.
I'm O.K with you not returning, as life is too short for needless drama and stress.
