Prince Edward County has many award-winning wineries, cider houses, a brewery, and a craft distillery. It produces world-class Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling, among other wines. The County's internationally acclaimed wineries offer a variety of experiences, from tastings and tours to winemakers' dinners and live entertainment.
Prince Edward County is also a culinary hotspot. With a history steeped in agriculture, the area once produced a third of Canada's canned goods, and there is still an immense amount of pride in local produce that showcases many farmers' markets.

| Lilac Shores is a superb getaway spot for a holiday in Prince Edward County. My husband and I have been twice, and this time I came with a couple of girlfriends. The location, the view and the ambiance cannot be beat. The house is perfectly comfortable and well-equipped. And did I mention the view? It bears repeating that it is stunning. Highly recommended!

| We had a great stay at Lilac Shores! The cottage is very clean and perfectly equipped. Beds were comfortable. The most captivating part of the cottage has to be the view from the sunroom. So tranquil and peaceful having our morning coffee watching the water and swans on the lake. Our hosts were responsive and very welcoming. It was perfect for our short and sweet vacation in the county. So convenient to the sights, tastes and shops as well! We also happened to be there when the lilacs were in full bloom. What more can we say??? Lilac Shores will be at the top of our list for accommodations when we visit Prince Edward County again. Thank you Nancy and Gary for a great stay.

| Just spent an awesome weekend at Lilac Shores. A perfect spot for visiting the PEC region. Close to wineries, breweries, Art shops, and distilleries. The views at the property are stunning, waking up to a view of the lake with the sun rising is amazing. Host Nancy and Gary were very attentive to any inquiries, but not over bearing whatsoever. The cottage is well equipped and is laid out perfectly. The sunroof with the picture window over looking the lake was a perfect place to have your morning coffee

| Thank you for a fabulous week! Lilac Shores had everything we hoped for and more for our ladies trip 2020. Quiet, private beautiful view of lake with birdlife and sunsets. The well equipped kitchen served our needs; the bedding and bathrooms worked well and the gorgeous sunroom made for a very comfortable vacation. Communication with Nancy, our host, was seem less and and responsive making the booking process easy! Your location was ideal for everything PEC has to offer including wine tasting, cycling, shopping and Sandbanks Provincial Park. We will definitely be back!

| We loved Lilac Shores. The house is terrific, well-equipped and spacious. It is very quiet with no close neighbours. We went kayaking over to Sandbanks Provincial park, biking on the Millenium Trail and swimming off the dock. Easy access to the water is a big plus.
The views across the lake are spectacular. On our last night after a ferocious storm we saw a rainbow arcing across the whole sky. A fitting end to our visit.
Nancy and Gary were welcoming and helpful hosts. We look forward to returning.
