Quaint Country Tolstoi Cottage in Beautiful South-Eastern Manitoba, Canada

Relax at a quaint country cottage located one hour south of Winnipeg in the small town of Tolstoi, Manitoba. Tolstoi is located 100 kms or 60 miles south of downtown Winnipeg and only 9 kms or 5 miles from the Canada-U.S. border on provincial highway 59.

The cottage, originally built in the 1920's, is located on a large lot surrounded by trees in the centre of town. This country cottage is a collector's dream! The cottage is decorated with vintage collections throughout and will bring you back in time. It has 2 bedrooms plus a double pullout sofa that sleeps two. The eat-in kitchen with modern stove, fridge, microwave and water-cooler is outfitted with all your cooking needs. If you are looking to cook outside, a propane BBQ will help you put your grilling skills to work.

The living room with pullout sofa has a television with satellite HD channels and a combo DVD/VHS player and a Blu-ray player with DVDs and tapes. Board games and puzzles will help you pass away the rainy days. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Towels are provided as well as hair dryer. An iron and ironing board is also available.

The bedroom and the second sleeping areas have double beds. The double bed sleeping area can be separated from the living room by curtains which can be drawn across. All linens are supplied.

Outside the cottage there is a large deck with chairs where you can pass the hours reading or watching the local wildlife such as deer and wild turkeys that pass through town. There is a fire pit area where you can watch the beautiful prairie sunset. There are several outdoor games and some sports equipment available to keep everyone entertained. A picnic table is available for outdoor meals. An outdoor electrical outlet is available to plug in your car block heater in the winter.
