Aug 2024 - Hi Ken, We are absolutely thrilled with the cottage. My family enjoys staying here. It has everything more than we need. The look out view to the lake is stunning. There are few friends coming often visiting us, chipmunks and hummingbirds. Thanks Alex. July 2024 Lamb family, Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your place. We had a wonderful time both rain and shine! You have everything anyone could need! We were all extremely sad and depressed to come home. Even the dog seemed sad today! I am already planning and hoping we can return next summer! Ann Edwin July 2024 My wife and I rented the cottage for the week of June 22-28. Our son and girlfriend came up for the weekend and my wife's sister and her husband came up for a couple of days mid-week but with 2 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms plus a loft, the cottage can easily accommodate more people. This is our third time at the cottage and we were extremely happy with our previous stays but new additions and renovations have made our week even more enjoyable. There is a large new wooden dock which extends out into the lake where where the water depth is probably 3m at the outer edge of the dock. Plenty of deck chairs on the dock for sunning and drying up when you come out of the water. There is a couple of paddle boards were welcome additions to the water craft and they were great fun. Looking forward to coming back! Also, for those who are into craft beer, be sure to check out the Bancroft Brewing Company. They have a great draft selection of their own beers on draft which you can also purchase in cans. The draft Vienna Ale is my favourite.

This is our third time returning to this cottage. It's our fav!
We really enjoy the layout of the cottage, with the primary bedroom being away from the rest of the cottage which gives privacy, an ensuite bathroom, and and a separate entrance.
The waterfront is amazing! The lower deck and new extended dock gives ample space to relax, swim, use the paddle boards, kayaks, and paddle boat, which are all in great condition. We caught many large fish (bass & pickeral) right from the dock! The water is a good temperature and very clean.
Bancroft is a 5-10 min drive away for any needed amenities.
Ken is a pleasure to work with, always responding quickly and gracefully.
We will continue to come back! Couldn't recommend more!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for this opportunity to rent the cottage again. Our experience there last year cannot even be put into words as to how much we enjoyed our short stay.
We haven't been able to stop talking about it and how much we all loved it. Our memories there will last a life time and again, I thank you for that!

Aug 2022- Hi Ken and Family. Thankyou very much for sharing your cottage with my family. We had a wonderful stay even though it rained quite a bit. We did catch some fish and enjoyed all the water toys. I wasn't expecting the cottage to be so big. We had more than enough room to spread out. We will definitely be back in the near future!

June 2022- Hi, Ken. Just a quick note to let you know that everyone had a great time at the cottage. We had the whole place to ourselves just like last year. Caught lots of fish, SM, LM and walleye, all of which were released.
Weather was great this year because I remember playing a lot of pool last year because of the rain.
Also, a heads up about the propane tanks. One of them ran out so I replaced it with the older tank. That one seems pretty heavy so it should be good for awhile. Don't think the other tank is too full.
Anyway, thanks for a wonderful week. Once I get settled back home I'll write you a good review.

Good morning, Ken. I caught something near the dock around 6am and it didn't feel like a bass. As I was pulling it in, it broke off but I managed to catch a glimpse of it. Are there any pickerel or pike in the lake? Yes there are pickerel.
A beautiful large cottage suitable for multi family vacations. BBQ, Pool table, ping pong, paddle boat, 4 kayaks (2 kids, 2 adult), canoe, fishing poles, table games, huge entertainment room. You will enjoy lots of sleeping room here. Very private large master bedroom can easily sleep a small family. This large cottage is located on a dead end road just 15 minutes from Downtown Bancroft! with an amazing lake view. The property has a nice level spot at the top which is where the firepit is located. There are good stairs down to the dock and water's edge. The dock is a good sized lots of sitting room. Enjoy exploring the lake in the canoe,4 kayaks or paddle boat. Private Derry lake is a quiet lake with only 3 cottages on it. There is also no motor boats.The cottage itself has a large main deck and a large lake side deck overlooking the water. A very large Great Room with a nice view, big table for meals and games, ping pong/pool table is in this room as well. The bedrooms are at the other end of the cottage and the master bedroom has its own entrance with a small ensuite and hot tub. The kitchen is spacious, cute, very bright and offers a nice view of the lake and upper deck. A full size ceramic oven, microwave, bbq are available for your use. Two bathrooms. Remember your linens and there is a washer and dryer as well. We offer weekly rentals only during the summer period.

| My daughter & I had the best time at the LAMB cottage! Such a perfect spot. Small private lake makes swimming & hanging out on the dock exactly how it should be - quiet & peaceful. Though it comes with all the amenities needed, the cottage feels wonderfully classic in it's lay out, games room, fun furniture and awesome vibe. We'll be back next year, for sure!

| We have stayed at the cottage about 4 times now with between 6-10 people. The cottage layout is great for a big family with plenty of space for meals and spending time together. Our family loves the pool + ping-pong table. The selection of boats is excellent - kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and paddle boat. Derry Lake is very small and so you pretty much have the lake to yourself most days. They've built a very nice dock for swimming from. One thing we really appreciate is the improvements to the cottage over the years (kitchen appliances, dock, etc.), the owner really takes care of the place.

| A perfect place rain or shine! The cottage has everything you need and more. The ping pong and pool table were an excellent touch on the rainy days! The view and deck space amazing. The water is perfect for boating, swimming, turtle and loon viewing! Once you arrive you will never want to leave!
