NOTES NO WEEKEND RENTALS IN SUMMER 2018 REVIEWS | Sandra | |
| We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cottage. The cottage is very clean and spacious, perfect size for the six of us and two dogs. We had great weather so could eat and play games outside on the large table (under the umbrella). Over the years we have rented cottages but this one is by far the best, both inside and outside . While the pictures are lovely they don't capture the serene feeling you get when you are sitting under the massive tree looking out over beautiful Georgian Bay. Doug made the experience so easy and was the best host. Can't wait to go again next year!!

| Our family absolutely loved our stay here. The photos do not do it justice.
The cottage was clean and simple, but had everything you needed. It did get a little bit warm at night but fans made it perfect for sleeping.
We got up early almost every morning to see the spectacular sunrise over the water. And the water itself was crystal clear - no need to go to a public beach when you have a private beach right there. A rocky beach though, so be sure to bring water socks if that bothers you.
We were lucky to stay over Canada Day where we got to enjoy the fireworks displays of our neighbouring cottages.
Fires at night, while listening to the gentle waves coming in, made our evenings peaceful and relaxing.
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay and are already looking forward to booking again.

| We had a fantastic time at this cottage (1 week stay) in July 2018. There were 8 of us (6 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of space for everyone. Having the second half bath on the main floor was a plus. The beds were very comfortable...it did get quite hot during our stay and there was no air conditioning, but we made due. We brought some of our own stand-up fans and that helped (they did provide a few small dresser-top fans). The private waterfront was awesome and the big steel umbrella was great as it provided shade all day long. We all had a great time in the water. It was very close to town so good access to food, groceries etc. and we did check out the Factory Outlet (which was huge). We made use of the mini golf at Memorial Park (which was really reasonable and fun) and the leash-less dog park. All in all we would definitely recommend this cottage! A few notes....you should bring your own toiletries (they do provide some but we had to buy paper towels and toilet paper), the kitchen is carpeted so be aware of that for making meals/messes, and the garbage collection is Tuesday so the previous renters' garbage was there for a few days after we got there (in the outside box). Not a big deal. The water from the tap is not drinkable so they did provide several 15L water jugs for the water cooler, but we ran out so we had to go and fill the bottles ourselves at the water plant in town. Recommend bringing your own individual bottled water too.

| We were at the cottage for 1 week in July 2017. We are a family (couple + 4 kids) from Quebec. The cottage is cosy and confortable. We had a lot of space inside and outside at the yard that reach the private beach. The owner provide some games, toys for inside and outside, and movies, so the kids had good time. The cottage is situated in a quiet area, right between 2 spots we recommand: Wasaga Beach (50 minutes drive) and the Bruce Peninsula National Park (1h15 drive). All the material provided (kayaks, paddle boat, BBQ, kitchen tools) was clean and working properly. So we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cottage and area.
