| This cottage was the perfect getaway for September. The weather was beautiful, the leaves are starting to turn color and the water is still a good temperature for swimming. The cottage itself is beautiful and well appointed. Our elderly parents enjoyed the main floor bedroom with ensuite and were able to enjoy the sunset views from the back deck. The upstairs bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable as well.
Besides the swimming we also enjoyed the use of the kayak and paddleboards, as well as the outdoor games and the firepit. Location is perfect, right on the water, but also just a short walk to the beautiful downtown Bayfield. We would definitely book this place again!

| My group rented this wonderful property for 5 nights over New Year's Eve this past holiday season. To say we had a great stay would be an understatement. We didn't want to leave! The home was inviting, with lots of space, and was very well appointed - we never ran out of dishes or glasses! They even had an extra little table in the living room that became our "puzzle table."
The location was perfect - walking distance to the Main street, yet the waterfront view of the lake was fabulous; I can only imagine what it's like in summer. The neighbours were close but the backyard facing the water still feels private.
Jennifer was responsive and helpful in all communications, a very gracious host. I definitely hope to stay there again sometime!

| We've rented several beautiful cottages in Bayfield over the years but this one is our new favourite. The cottage itself was perfect, 4 well-appointed bedrooms (2 with ensuites) a really nice and well stocked kitchen, a great room with lots of seating and a fantastic yard with a very large deck and lawn area for games. The yard has two firepits, two eating areas and stairs that lead directly to the beach. We had the use of two paddleboards, a kayak and 4 lifejackets which were all in great condition. The cottage really had everything we could have needed and more.
The owner (Jennifer) was amazing - met us there on arrival, had cleaning procedures in place for Covid, and even called to see if we were okay the morning after a small storm.
We hope to return in 2021!!!

| This is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful spot on Lake Huron. The cottage is nicely laid out and well equipped. The living, kitchen and dining areas are open concept so everyone can be in the same area without feeling crowded. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The bathrooms (4!!) are modern. There are large windows for spectacular views of the lake and, of course, the famous sunsets. The outside area is lovely and well organized. The patio has two tables, plus a swinging sofa at the top of the stairs. There are two fire pits - one gas and one wood. The stairs to the beach are well maintained. There is actual beach here - a rarity these days on this section of Lake Huron.
What made our stay here especially enjoyable was that the owners provide more than the usual for renters: coffee, tea, spices, oils etc, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towel, towels for bath and beach, bedding, bikes, kayak, paddle boards etc. We've been renting cottages on the lake for 20 years and we've usually had to bring all of this "stuff". Because the owners provide so many of the basics - as well as more than the basics - it made getting to and from the cottage really easy. The owners were very easy to get along with and readily available to answer any questions.
The cottage exceeded our expectations and the owners were friendly and helpful.
We will be sure to rent this cottage again!
