| This was our first stay at The Loan Oak and like one of the other reviewers we never rent the same cottage two years in a row because we are always looking to change things up. This would be the exception. We are a family of 5 with kids ages between 8 and 14 plus Grandparents. The cottage is very charming and has everything you might need. The beautiful deck overlooking the lake was a great spot to lounge and eat our meals on. The water entry is sandy and there are lots of water toys to play with, we had fun kayaking around the lake. The water mat was also a big hit. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage inside is very charmingly decorated. There is an amazing fire pit where we enjoyed lots of s'mores and campfire stories. It was so nice that everything is very close together. Deck, campfire and dock all so close to the cottage and everything so close to the water. This was nice for the Grandparents who don't love it when we choose cottages that have 100 stairs to the water:) The hosts were lovely to deal with and were very quick getting back to us with any questions we had. The s'mores and wine were such a nice surprise. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with our family. We hope to come back again!

| This was our first stay at Lake St Peter. From the start our host made our time at the cottage feel like home. Excellent amenities and activities for the kids and adults, inside and out. Fishing off the dock, swimming, a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the lake and then relaxing by the fire, it was a little slice heaven! We look forward to future stays at the Lone Oak Cottage. Thank you Scott!

| Highly recommend this cottage for your summer holidays. We rent a cottage every year, but never book the same one twice as we're always looking for something different than the last time. This cottage could be the exception to that. Great size cottage with everything you need for your week away. The deck overlooking the water is the perfect spot to spend the day. Lots of privacy as well! We had no issues during our stay so didn't need to contact the hosts, communication before and after arrival was great!

| This is our 2nd stay at Lake St Peter Getaway and it was even better than the first! Scott is very helpful and responsive to any inquiries. The cottage is well stocked and welcoming. The kids were always entertained both on the water and on land. We loved the kayaks and the water mat was a fan favourite with the kids (and adults)! The dock at the water level is fantastic for lounging on while the kids swim. Great sandy entry into the lake.
Fishing was top notch! The kids were catching bass, trout and walleye from the dock.
Cottage is clean and nicely decorated and the welcome wine and s'mores were a great touch!
