Fully updated everything is new and ready to enjoy:) This private ocean beach cottage offers over 300 feet of oceanfront and 3.5 acres of space to play, most of which is flat, open lawn. A private rock staircase leads to a private fire-pit as you pass along to the sandy beach area. At high tide the water is close and low tide offers multiple sand bars and warm tide pools to explore. NOTE: Listing GL-22276 and listing GL-24283 are neighboring properties and we own all three properties which can be rented together or individually. The cottage is located in between Heather's and Cameron's Beach, popular for the warm waters and sandy beaches of the Northumberland Straight. On clear days enjoy views of the Confederation Bridge (40min drive away) and PEI in the distance. Don't be too disappointed if a few clouds block your view as they will offer some amazing sunsets...ensure to have your camera ready! Access to high speed wireless internet is always available with capability of multiple users, large downloads and streaming video with ease. As well as a new 40" Smart TV with DVD player for added convenience. The cottage has been recently updated and offers 2 bedrooms to sleep up to 5 people. One bedroom has a new pillow top queen bed with frame and the other has two new double bed's (both pillow top). There is one bathroom with a rain shower. The kitchen has a full oven & stove and full size fridge with freezer. There is a washer, electric baseboard heat in each room and a large deck with BBQ. All linens, towels & dishes are provided for your added convenience as well as several board games and cards. Also available is the new large play-ground set including slides, swings and a look out tower providing hours of fun for your children.
The village of Pugwash offers all necessary amenities and is a 10min drive. There is a general store and lobster pound 5 min away. For more services, a 20min drive on the Sunshine Trail takes you to the town of Amherst. Nearby attractions include Fox Harbour & Northumberland Golf Courses (20min), Corn Maze (15min), Confederation Bridge (40min), and Magic Mountain (60min). Longer day trips to Halifax, New Glasgow, Bay of Fundy, Moncton, Hopewell Rocks, etc are all possible being approximately 2-2.5h away. The Halifax international Airport is approximately 1h 45min and Moncton Airport is 1 hour.

| Many thanks to the Lowther Family. We very much appreciated the warm welcome and friendly conversation during our stay. Great Peeps. As avid cottagers from Ontario, we arrived with a certain set of expectations. Wow. Totally satisfied. What an amazing view! The cottage included everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing week. We enjoyed the sunrises / sunsets, watching an abundance of wildlife, walking the flats at low tide and even managed to catch a number of mackerel while shore fishing. Seriously considering booking a longer stay next year.

| There aren't enough words to say how much we love this place. We have stayed for several years now and everything is always wonderful. The cottage is very clean and cozy and the owners have thought of everything you might need. The beachy decor lends a lovely vibe. It can get quite hot in the cottage but the 3 ceiling fans help a lot.
The property is huge and well kept, our kids love the playground, especially the big seesaw!
The firepit area built into the rocks is so unique, with lots of firewood provided. Sitting by the fire while overlooking the ocean and watching for seals is such a fun experience.
We love the stone steps going down to the beach and have fun swimming at high tide and exploring the sandbars and tide pools at low tide.
This place is really a gem, and as long as it is available to rent we hope to keep coming back!

| This little gem is all that you need and more! The private, quiet setting is perfect for relaxation and family time. The cottage has everything that you require with a fully updated, bright, seaside decor. The cottage is very comfortable and I like that it is all set up for recycling as much as you can to help the environment.
The private fire pit and staircase down to the beach is gorgeous. It is the perfect setting if you enjoy long walks when the tide is out or collecting shells, pebbles and sea glass. We will definitely be booking this little piece of Nova Scotia heaven again.

| This is our third year renting at Buds Lane. We feel there is no better place to be than here! Everything is always beautifully clean and ready for us to enjoy. The owners have thought of everything. Buds Lane has a fire pit area sunken into the small cliff where we spend every summer evening with our friends and family, roasting s'mores and hot dogs. Beautiful steps lead to lots of sand bars to walk on, enjoy and swim. Kayaks are provided if you like to get out on the ocean. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and three queen beds is a rare find in the area. We find it great for when our grown children decide to visit! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would ever need, right down to lobster crackers and pickers for our big lobster dinner we have on our final night. Chase's lobster pound is only minutes away. You can even call Chase's and have them cook your lobster if you don't want that hassle while at the cottage. One of the great benefits of this cottage is having a washing machine - not that you want to do laundry on vacation but occasionally its nice to run your beach towels through to freshen them up. Buds Lane has an amazing deck with lots of seating provided. The two zero gravity chairs are lovely and we spend most of the day in them either on the deck or closer to the ocean on the massive yard. A shout out to the property managers, Debbie and Alison, who take great pride in making everything just perfect for us. A perfect piece of heaven!
