Get to the Point Lakehouse. Waterfront 4 season cottage 12 minute drive from Point Pelee National Park. Enjoy the sunrise over Lake Erie in the morning and spectacular sunsets over the canal in the evening and finish the day while star gazing from the deck. Available for weekend/ weekly rentals in the Spring, to watch the bird migration or just enjoy the weekend by the lake. Water view from every window.All the comforts from home with fridge, stove, microwave , dishwasher and laundry facilities. WI-FI, satellite & smart T.V. Air conditioned. 2 bedrooms have queen beds, third bedroom has two bunk beds & single bed. Enjoy fishing off the sundeck or on the Canal. Large dining table comfortably seats 8 and offers room to enjoy family board games. Patio set, fire pit and BBQ. Bring your own linens (sheets & blankets), paper products, towels and pillows. Firewood is not included in the rental. Pets must be approved prior to your stay. 2 Kayaks, paddle board, lawn games. Fully stocked kitchen. Keurig/regular coffee pot, board games. | We had such a wonderful week at the cottage! The area is incredibly beautiful and the cottage is a dream - clean, spacious and quiet with everything you need. Lots of fun toys to use outdoors and plenty of space to enjoy quiet activities indoors too! Hoping to return someday soon :)

| It was such a treat to return to this cottage! My friends (two parents, two kids) loved the comfy, spacious and bright house, the location on a quiet slip of land right on Lake Erie, and the nearby birding at Point Pelee. We all wished we had booked for an entire week!

| Our family of 3 (including 1 year old) plus pup recently stayed at the Get to the Point Lakehouse for a week. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The cottage is fully equipped with all the comforts of home, and there wasn't anything we felt we were missing during our visit. We appreciated the central A/C during a July heat wave, especially liked that the cottage was pet-friendly and found it handy having a garage to stash our bikes. Our little guy, who just started walking about a week before our visit, had a great time doing laps around the kitchen island and large open concept living area. There was plenty of space around the dining table for family meals when grandparents joined for a visit, and everyone found the beds comfortable. We enjoyed the sunrises on the back deck and sunsets on the canal dock. While getting down to the small, but nice, private beach wasn't possible for some of the less mobile family members (there are a set of about 10 metal stairs to climb down), those of us who could take advantage loved being able to go for a swim steps from the cottage and those who couldn't make it down still could watch from the deck above. It was a short 13 minute drive to Point Pelee National Park, where we enjoyed the bike trails, beaches and marsh boardwalk. We ventured out for dinner a couple of nights and ate at a couple of great places within a 20 minute drive. All-in-all this cottage offered exactly what we were after and Valarie was an excellent host!
