Our Story
Let our exquisite Lake House with its teal-coloured exterior, asymmetrical shape, true waterfront lake living with an abundance of amenities be the choice of your next vacation and the perfect escape to rejuvenate, celebrate and unwind.
Skipping Rock Lake House is a quick drive to Port Dover and Niagara Falls if you want to do something extra on your getaway. It is also located between two provincial parks - each only a 20-minute drive. Several golf courses are in the area as well. As in most small towns, Haldimand County has local bakeries, one-of-a-kind shops, non-franchise restaurants and even fine dining. You can discover the Grand River and all of its beauty for walking trails, fishing, boating, and so much more.
Walk directly into the shallow water; but be sure to bring WATER SHOES as it is rocky, not sandy! We have an armour stone break wall attached to the dock (seasonal). It is also connected to the aggregate pad for a unique place to sit and view the lake.

Our location is known for great small mouth bass fishing. You can literally see them in the shallow water off our boat dock. | We stayed at the cottage for Thanksgiving weekend and although the weather did not cooperate, we had a wonderful time. The cottage was very clean and tidy, the beds are very comfortable and everything that we needed was there. One of the hosts was there when we arrived to answer any questions and show us around. We will look forward to a return visit.

| This cottage is so cute , was perfect for our little getaway we loved everything about it,fishing ,kayaking the paddle boards, cornhole, weather was perfect everyday while we were there. you will definately enjoy it here, the beds are soo comfortable

making sure we had everthing and very quick responds to any questions we had.
Oh cant forget the blackstone grill ! It was so easy to use, cooked all our meals on it we loved it ,we are definately getting one !

| We had the most lovely time at skipping rocks. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. Relaxation, time with family, fun on the water, dog friendly, clean with all the amenities we need
We especially loved the proximity to the water, access to the water toys, the amazing flat top grill, and the wide selection of movies to pick from in the evening
Also, the beds were really comfortable! Everything was decorated very nicely

| Best Lake House Cottage ever! This was our 2nd year in a row for our family of 7 and a dog!
All of the water amenities are awesome?.kayaks, paddle boards, floaties, etc. Fire pit on top of aggregate wall overlooking water with lots of lounge chairs for watching sunrise. Great fishing off dock as I caught a rare 5 lb Bowfin. The black stone grill is easy to use and you can make all your meals on it! Jason and Lisa are awesome! Never had any problems with cottage but Jason is always responds quickly if you have questions or problems. Plenty of board games, cornhole and other outside games available too! See you next year!
