| "Truly relaxing environment!? Cooperage House is truly a beautiful space. We enjoyed every inch of it. The log cabin base combined with the modern elements of the rest of this new cottage is brilliant. Every space is well thought out and the entire cottage is well appointed from top to bottom. Situated on Eagle Lake it is a truly relaxing environment. Good access to Sir Sam's Ski Hill and Haliburton Forest which allowed us to go exploring. Highlights would include: The home theatre was a comfortable place to gather, and the picture quality was excellent. The fire pit area with Muskoka chairs was a great place for all of us to be together after dinner. Firewood was provided. We plan to go back either this winter or next summer.

| Spectacular Week Cottage Getaway. We rented the Cooperage House to get away with my family. My parents came up from Florida and along with myself, husband, 10, 12 and 2-year-old we all enjoyed a relaxing and beautiful week. The deck has lots of room to relax and the doc was a great place to read and relax. The amenities provided and accessible were great. We especially loved the media room after a long day playing. I would recommend this property to anyone. We had a wonderful trip.

Owner response: Music to my ears! It makes it all worth while. Relaxation and enjoyment and spending time with love ones is what The Cooperage House is all about. The deck has room for BBQ's and hanging out , and naturally you would want to spend time at the dock. Thank you for treating our home with care and respect and we welcome you back anytime.

| We had a great time at the Cooperage House! The cottage was very clean, bright and welcoming. The property has a lot of space for hanging out and playing games. There were a lot of games, entertainment and equipment to use throughout the week. We especially loved hanging out on the dock. There was very little you need to bring yourself to keep entertained. There is a really cute general store within a 5-minute walk where you can get all your essentials including beer and wine. So, no need to go far for anything. Rene was always a text away when there were any questions and was always happy to help. We highly recommend the Cooperage House! you'll have a great time!

| A stunning property and a stunning home! Very clean and very comfortable.! We loved every bit of our stay, one of our best vacations! The kitchen is well appointed for everything that one needs for making meals, or baking. We spent many days relaxing on the deck and the dock. We enjoyed ourselves down at the fire pit roasting smores. We also spent days down on the dock, kayaking and paddle boarding. The owners are very accommodating and left us firewood and a bottle of wine. The hot tub at night looking up at the stars was priceless. And to top it off the fishing was almost non-stop. We will back!

| We have rented this cottage for 3 nights for 11 people, as the cottage was offering 5 bed and 4 bath. This was chosen especially for the number of bedrooms and the nice pictures for the master bedroom as our in laws were coming from our country and we want them to feel special. On our arrival the master bedroom was locked, when asked she told us it's just 4 bedrooms not 5 and we have it on the agreement. It was, but there was no mention about the master being locked and not able to use the 4th bathroom. She apologies and her solution to the bedroom's situation was - DO YOU WANT TO CHECK OUT? - we told her we have kids and elderlies with us, and we didn't drive 400 km to check out right away. 400$ cleaning charge but the cottage was full of animal hair and dust. We told the owner the website description is false advertising, and she shouldn't advertise the master bedroom if not available. To pay 4400$ for 3 nights and having people sleeping on the floor it's not fair. Since we mentioned the false advertising, the descriptions was changed on the website, but we do have screen shots from the time of booking. By mistake my husband packed one of their towel's and left behind one of ours. I was immediately contacted and warned to sent back the towels, if not I will be charged for a full set of towels and her shopping time. The approach was very rude and unprofessional. Overall, our experience was very bad, very unhappy with the way we have been treated by the owner.

Owner response: It is very unfortunate that this guest did not read the listing and did not read the contract that they signed. The cottage is 4 bedroom during low season and is 5 bedroom during high season. The contract that she signed clearly stated that it was a 4 bedroom cottage and the price she paid reflected this. This guest demanded that I come and open the other bedroom. This guest rented during November ( off season) and was upset that the dock was in the water in off season. This guest is clearly vendictive. They tried to force the bedroom door open and we had to make repairs to the door. When they were questioned about the missing towels - they said they had no knowledge and all the towels were there. I told her she would be charged for the towels that were taken for the cottage - she magically found them. This guest has fabricated many stories because she could not get the additional bedroom. It's guest like this that make you think that you don't want to rent our your cottage. Every once in a while you get a rotten apple.Thankfully it was only a 3 day rental as she kept calling and txting all day and at late hours of the night. Most people are good natured and we hope we don't have to come across anyone like this agaiin.
