NOTES 300 / 325 are for the month of MAY, thank you. REVIEWS | Esther | |
| We had the pleasure to stay at this stunning cottage as we celebrated our first year anniversary, and we couldn't have made a better choice. From the beautiful drive in, to the stunning waterfront property grounds, to the flawlessly clean cottage, every part of the experience was perfect. We loved the fully stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook at home, but if needed this property was not too far from the local town with a grocery store and lots of restaurants (try Wing House!). Loved canoeing/kayaking on the water as well, there's a slight current which also prevents many bugs. At night, we had everything needed to start a fire + make s'mores (the hosts graciously left us some marshmallows and crackers as well!). The best part was that this properly is actually located in a dark sky area, allowing us to see the brightest stars, a pleasant surprise coming from a busy city. If we wanted to stay in, the living room had the comfiest couches, and a little television and DVD player stocked with lots of nostalgic movies (which we loved!). The washroom was incredibly clean with the BEST waterfall like shower head, very relaxing after long days outside. The hosts were always so responsive over text, and checked in to ensure that we had everything that we needed.
This is truly a hidden gem just 2.5 hours away from Toronto, you won't regret booking your stay.
