Welcome to our lovely family cottage located on Canal Lake in the Village of Kirkfield, Kawartha Lakes. It contains 3 bedrooms, 1 washroom, 1 powder room, fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room and 3 season sunroom. Unlimited internet - Xplornet. It sleeps 8 comfortably (maximum 4 adults per stay). The property offers a large, level backyard with ample room for outdoor games, a patio by the water with comfortable muskoka chairs, sandy area and a fire pit for those smores and stories. The water by the shore is shallow and warm which makes it ideal for families with little ones. Southern exposure is perfect for basking in the sun all day long while the large maple trees offer shade throughout the day. The property is pet friendly with a fully fenced backyard. It is the best spot to watch a full moon reflecting over the water. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and come relax by our lake that offers great fishing from our dock or a canoe. Take long rides on a kayak, canoe or pedal boat that are available for your use. During winter, warm up to the electric fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate after cross country skiing or snowshoeing on the frozen lake. 1.5 hour from Toronto, our cottage offers a great get-away for families, couples or girls/ guys time away. 17 minutes from Balsam Provincial Park with gorgeous trails and sandy beach.

| Our stay at the Dreamwater Cottage was phenomenal. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The cottage is very spacious, well laid out and very clean. The kitchen is also very well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Lots of board games to choose from, Pac-Man was a big hit with our group. The grounds of the cottage are very well maintained with a big yard and lots of space for the kids to run around, we were able to set up a badminton set no problem. The water is very shallow and clear and lots of water craft for use, including a kids kayak and peddle boat which we used mostly. The addition of the beach area by the dock was great and very used by us. There is lots of seating by the water and around the campfire, which was great for our big group. The neighborhood is very quiet, which was lovely for morning walks. We will definitely be going back. Anna was a great host and made the booking process very easy.

| We can not say enough good things about this property! The cottage itself is lovely with windows and a water view everywhere you look. It is clean, comfy and the best stocked cottage you'll ever find! Anything you could possibly need and then some. The spacious yard is fenced on both sides right to the shoreline, which was a definite bonus for us! The kayaks, canoe, peddle boat and fire pit were well used.
Highly, highly recommend and can't wait for our next stay. Thanks Anna.

| We were a group of 3 adults (and a doggo) that stayed at the Dreamwater Cottage for 4 nights last week. It was indeed a DREAM! Anna is an incredibly responsive and accommodating host which made our stay even better. The cottage itself is beautiful - no matter what angle you look out to the water, you get an incredible view of the lake. The lake is perfect for activities like paddle boat, kayak, canoe (all of which is provided by the cottage and kept in great condition) given it's so calm. While Canal Lake is shallow and covered in seaweed (I think the owners clears it right at entry to water for about 50ft out), it is as expected (nature!) - you can find pockets of seaweed-free areas to swim in - highly recommend! Water shoes are also great for this lake! The rooms are all a good size, with closet space (think: longer stays). The cottage is kept with all the necessities and is SO clean (bonus!). The other added bonus especially if you are traveling with a dog is the FULLY FENCED BACKYARD all the way to the waterline. I can't recommend this cottage enough! Thank you Anna for a wonderful stay for our family.

| Amazing cottage! Clean and modern. Lots of space for the kids and pets to play, as well plenty of entertainment and games. Two bathrooms is a plus! Fully fenced to the shore line is VERY rare and so helpful for kids and pets! Nice warm shallow water makes for relaxed parents, letting the kids play in the water. Lake is great for kayaking and canoeing! Not many motorized watercraft passing at all! It was so beautifully quiet and peaceful! We have been 3 times and plan on renting again in the fall!

| What a wonderful, relaxing long weekend we had? thanks to our amazing hosts! The cottage was perfect for 2 couples with the bedrooms and bathrooms on separate levels. Each room had tasteful, comfortable decor. Every amenity was anticipated and provided for, from the fully stocked kitchen, to a wide range of board games, dvd movies, books and electronic games. We loved having morning coffee in the airy sunroom and sitting in the Muskoka chairs by the beautiful lake. We had fun taking out the kayak, canoe and paddle boat. It was especially nice canoeing at sunset when the lake was really calm. Surprisingly, we only saw a couple of boats on the lake all weekend. This is a really quiet location, a real hidden gem!
