Welcome to The Riverwood - your home away from home; built in 2021 with all of the comforts of home and the beauty of Kennisis Lake viewed from every floor. Rents by the week during the summer season (Friday to Friday). Weekly rentals during fall/ winter/spring.
SLEEPS up to a maximum of 8 people. No extra visitors (including day visitors) as per Dysart et al STR bylaw.
With a gorgeous location on the tip of a bay on beautiful Kennisis Lake, there's everything you'd need for a perfect lake-based vacation. Clear water for swimming from a shallow, sandy walk-in to deep water off the dock and for those booking later in the summer, when the water levels drop, a sandy beach is revealed. Plenty of water toys are included; a lily pad, kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard and a paddleboat.
This boutique lakehouse includes a main level great room with cathedral ceilings, dining area and gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and Monogram appliances (including a 36" gas stove the chef of the group will love).
The main floor has the primary bedroom (king)(with ensuite bathroom), a powered room washroom, as well as a huge deck and Haliburton room for screened-in comfort.
In the loft, you'll find two bedrooms and a full bathroom while the lower level has another bedroom and full bathroom, as well as a family area with a walkout to the lakefront side and unbelievable views.
You'll find all the comforts of home here; air conditioning, propane furnace, fireplace on the lower level for the cooler evenings, unlimited Wi-Fi, laundry etc. This is the perfect space for your time at the lake, both inside and out.
We also have excellent internet service, where you can work from the cottage (if need be), stream movies, and post your vacation pics anytime.
To top it all, the location is perfect. Only 15 minutes to the general store in West Guilford and 30 minutes to the town of Haliburton. The Haliburton Forest is only minutes from the cottage, and Sir Sam's ski area is a 30-minute drive. Golfers can enjoy nearby courses.
Linens, bathroom towels, and toilet paper/paper towels are included with your stay. Beach towels are required to be brought by the guest. A cleaning service is provided, however, the cottage is to be left in the condition you found it.
All garbage must be taken by the guest to the dump. A dump card is provided.

Note: Located only 2.5 hours away from the GTA, on the north shore of Kennisis lake, this boutique cottage is south facing, so you will enjoy all day sun from the lake and dock. Sir Sam's Ski resort is a 30 minute drive from The Riverwood.

| We have rented this cottage for a week in the summer two years in a row and it has been amazing both times. The cottage is beautiful and so well kept, the hosts are amazing, the amenities are incredible and the views are fantastic. Our kids had an awesome time with so much to do. I would highly recommend and would rent again for sure!
