BRAND NEW LISTING - JUST RENO'D!!! Bonnie Vista Cottage, the perfect family getaway this year! This large property is on pristine Big Gull Lake and has over 200 ft of shoreline. You'll be instantly relaxed when you walk up and see the view from the sunny deck. Our cottage contains 2 Queen beds in their own room, a Queen sized pull out couch in the living room, as well as a small 5' bed perfect for the kids. Feel free to cook up a feast in our newly renovated bright and spacious kitchen or take your family outside and BBQ while staring out over the lake. The new 3 piece washroom separates the two bedrooms for added privacy. Some highlights include a wood burning fireplace, large lake view windows in the living room, and an oversized deck at Bonnie Vista which offers expansive views of nearby Bone Island and the North Shore. There is a boat dock if you wanted to rent from the local marina or bring your own. It's a perfect place to sit, relax, socialize and enjoy the vistas of Big Gull Lake and still have privacy.
Big Gull Lake is one of the largest and most beautiful spring fed lakes in the Land O Lakes region. Big Gull is 80% crown land, 88 kilometers of shoreline, over 20 kilometers long and has 24 campsites, with several on its islands. It is a spring fed lake that offers renown fishing including walleye, large & small mouth bass, pike, perch and panfish.
We offer 1 canoe, 1 paddle board, 1 adult kayak and 3 kids kayaks, lifejackets for guests, 1 propane tank for the bbq. There is enough parking for at least 5 cars without feeling too cramped and there is a local boat launch at the marina just down the bay.
Staying at Bonnie Vista Requirements: One week minimum stay Sunday to Sunday during the Prime Season: June 1 to September 30th. Guests to please provide their own beach towels.
Location: 3 hours from the GTA, 2 hours from Ottawa, and 1.5 hours from Kingston. 15 Minutes from Northbrook and Arden, Ontario.
