| I waited until after I'd secured my spot for next year before writing this review, so that should tell you something! We've been renting a cottage every summer for a number of years, but had never found that "home away from home" one that we wanted to come back to each year. Until now! The cottage is a dream (clean, modern but rustic, spacious but cozy), the lake is quiet and peaceful, and John was a wonderful host. We're looking forward to future summers here :)

| The cottage is really lovely, very cosy and nicely decorated. The owners have really thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and the kitchen is better equipped than our own! The lake is quiet and peaceful, perfect for swimming and floating on the pad. Our family loved it and two weeks flew by - will definitely be renting again!

| Perfect cottage for our family of four and we could have brought the grandparents too! Cottage was beautiful, bright, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were responsive and welcoming. So many places to sit and relax. Small, clean and quiet lake, perfect for paddling. Wonderful.

| We highly recommend this thoughtfully-appointed and comfortable cottage on a small lake in Haliburton. The hosts have created a cosy atmosphere, combining tasteful décor with many practical touches that made settling in a breeze. We found that we had brought several kitchen and food items that we didn't need as they were already provided (e.g. tea towels, rubber gloves, olive oil and red wine vinegar). A welcome basket was full of nice treats which we appreciated.
The lake was quiet, as we were there on the last week before the school summer holidays. The shallow water meant that it was warm enough for a refreshing dip, and we had some successful fishing off the dock.
