Nestled amongst the towering pines on Stewart Lake in Muskoka, Sunset Pines is a completely renovated four bedroom, two bathroom cottage boasting 158 feet of beautiful south-west facing waterfront, two separate docks, numerous water toys and incredible sunsets. Sunset Pines is the perfect setting for you and your guests to enjoy a true Muskoka vacation.
The space
Our southwest facing lakefront property offers over 158 feet of gentle sloping waterfront, with a sandy beach and entrance into the pristine waters of Stewart Lake. Spend long summer days lakeside on one of the two docks, soaking up the rays and then cooling off with a refreshing jump off the end of the dock.
For the adventurers at heart, we offer a variety of water-crafts including, paddle boards, kids paddle boards, kayaks, kids kayaks, a canoe and paddle boat. The fishermen in your group can look forward to catching mostly smallmouth bass and pike right off the end of our dock.
Look forward to beautiful sunsets, campfires by the lake, starry skies and watching the train go by as it salutes you while entering historic MacTier..
Sunset Pines is designed with families and friends in mind, with a large open kitchen/
dining room, spacious Muskoka room and large deck with BBQ. Enjoy meals and activities together and then cozy up on the couch when you're ready and stream your favourite show or head downstairs and challenge a friend to ping pong.
Guest access
Guests can enjoy full access of the entire property excluding the locked storage rooms. Take advantage of the Rental Guide provided, which gives you an in depth look at the cottage and surrounding areas including frequently asked questions. There are two adult stand up paddle boards, two kids stand up paddle boards, three adult kayaks, two child kayaks, a canoe and a paddle boat for your enjoyment. An assortment of lifejackets are available in the storage room, which should be worn at all times while using the water toys.
To enhance your enjoyment there are several seating areas for you to relax including Muskoka chairs on the beach, a swing and a hammock. Feel free to take a gravity chair onto the dock to soak in the sun.
Back at the cottage there is a large deck with a BBQ and additional seating. In the Muskoka room there is a Smart TV with wifi, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, a DVD player, a well stocked library and an array of board games. There is an indoor/outdoor Bluetooth speaker for your enjoyment as well as some indoor and outdoor toys for children.
The basement has laundry, an additional bathroom, a recreation room with a ping ping table, the primary bedroom with king size bed and a walkout to the waterfront.
