Panmure Island Beach House is a beachfront vacation property. The beach house is located at the very end of a red clay road on Panmure Island. This secluded vacation rental provides all the luxuries of home.
The beach house is fully equipped with everything you'll need for your island vacation. It comfortably sleeps 8 and offers 2,200 square feet of living space and an additional 750 square feet of deck and screened-in porch. It is situated on the south shore of Panmure Island, which connects to mainland PEI by way of a causeway. Panmure Provincial Park and Panmure Beach are on the east side of the causeway and St. Mary's Bay lies to the west of the causeway.
You will enjoy the open concept in this two story beach house with its captivating water views. The first level of the rental provides a large great room with a propane fireplace, a dining room and kitchen with all appliances, all offering fantastic views. The first floor also has a principal bedroom with queen size bed and full bathroom, as well as a laundry room and powder room combined. The principal bedroom has French doors that connect to the deck for early morning tea or coffee. Second floor offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed and a daybed. The other bedroom has a double bed and two single beds and a bathroom is situated in between the two bedrooms.
The deck facing the water and screened-in porch are great places to enjoy meals. Enjoy a cool drink on the deck or porch while gazing at the water after a day of exploring PEI or relax with your favorite book or listening to music. As you relax or bask in the sun, you may see great blue herons, patiently waiting for their catch of the day, hares, munching on plants and flowers, and bald eagles soaring above the beach, as well as blue jays, cormorants, sandpipers, hummingbirds and a variety of other birds (there are 333 species of birds) that are home to PEI.
You can also relax on the waterfront deck that seats 8 comfortably and is shaded by a shade sail. There is a low bank to the beach, which makes it very easy to access the beach. From there, you can launch kayaks (2 singles and one double) and paddleboards (2) to explore St. Mary's Bay. Upon returning from the beach, you can wash off using the outdoor shower.
The island offers fresh seafood, vegetables, wild blueberries, local wine and much more to make your island cuisine perfect. Cooking at Panmure Island Beach House will be a treat with its beautiful kitchen. It includes stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space with a large center island, and all the kitchen implements and cookware needed to make fabulous island meals. Another cooking option is the charcoal/wood chip burning Weber grill, a few steps from the porch.
