During the peak season (summer) we are only booking weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday. Arrival will be anytime after 4pm on the first Saturday and departure will be by 10am the following Saturday.

Note: This is our personal family cottage and we are only looking to rent to responsible families and adults. We have a no party policy and if we hear that the cottage is being used to host parties or if we get a complaint from neighbours regarding excessive noise, we reserve the right to have your group leave the cottage with no refund. We want you to enjoy our little piece of heaven and treat it as if it were your own. A waiver and release form must be signed in order to finalize your booking. On the Waiver and Release form, we also require the names of the people who will be staying at the cottage. Only the people listed on the Waiver and Release form are to be on the property, this includes day and overnight guests. If you would like to add somebody to the list, we must be notified in advance. Pets are not permitted at Luxury Waterfront Lakehouse - Kawartha Buckhorn Lake unless pre-approved by the owners.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen that includes fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and Keurig, tupperware and all dishes, flatware and bakeware. There is also a barbecue on the back deck (we will supply 1 tank of propane). There will be no food, condiments, foil, zip lock bags or plastic wrap provided. All mattresses have a mattress cover but you ARE responsible for bringing linens, blankets, pillows, towels (bath and beach), hand towels, hand soap, toilet paper, all toiletries, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, dish cloths, tea towels and garbage bags. You are responsible to dispose of all garbage and recycling.
