Lakefront four season cottage located on Eagle Lake in Haliburton. The cottage is perfect for hosting up to 12 people, whether it be a family getaway, girls reunion, or a couples escape from the city, it has something for everyone.
This five-bedroom, three-bath home offers a large deck with a beautiful view, family room with stone fireplace, a large kitchen and a private hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake. The lower level walk- out has a king size futon, pull-out couch, pool table, tv, endless indoor board games and laundry room. The 800 sq. ft master bedroom with lake view has a king size bed, propane fireplace, sitting area, jacuzzi tub with a separate shower, walk-in closet and sliding doors out to the deck. Three bedrooms hold queen beds and the last bedroom holds one queen bed and a bunkbed.
A cottage getaway would not be complete without all the outdoor fun it has to offer. Whether it's swimming in the lake, or warming up in our year round hot tub be sure to pack a bathing suit! If you visit in the warmer months, down at the water there is a large dock with a sitting area and dock house with water games and a beverage fridge. Get out and enjoy the lake in our 2 kayaks, paddleboat or canoe. Eagle Lake water is clean and clear, walk in the sand beach or dive off the dock! If you visit in the colder months pack some ice skates for the frozen lake, toboggan down the hill on the property, or cozy up beside a warm fire with a hot chocolate and board games. Located right across the road is Sir Sams Ski Hill for downhill skiing.
Get to know the town of Haliburton as this cottage is private yet close to all amenities. Walk across the road to Sir Sams ski hill for downhill skiing or snowshoeing in the winter and mountain biking trails in the summer. Walk to Sir Sams Inn for dinner and drinks, a spa treatment or tennis match. The Eagle Lake Store with LCBO is just a 2-minute drive. Fifteen minute drive to the town of Haliburton. There are 5 golf courses within a 30 minute drive. A 20 minute drive from the largest Private Park in Ontario, Haliburton Forest, with snowmobiling trails, hiking, dog sledding, wolf sanctuary and more. You are surrounded by wonderful hiking and biking trails and the Haliburton Highlands offers endless snowmobile trails right outside our cottage door in the winter.
