Muskoka River, Bracebridge, Ontario
Nestled on 3.8 acres of pristine Muskoka wilderness along the banks of the Muskoka River, this charming log cabin is located only 20 minutes from Bracebridge. This traditional year-round log cottage offers an escape in history while providing modern amenities such as high-speed internet. In the 1980s, three different century old log homes from across Ontario were brought to this site to be reconstructed into the cabin.
This property offers a large grassy yard, perfect for playing all sorts of lawn games. The two-tiered 15-foot-long deck is a great space for relaxing, conversation and dining, offering great river views and plenty of sun. A table and chairs are available for guests dining outdoors, and a lounge area includes a patio couch, love seat, coffee table, and two chairs. The deck winds around to the kitchen area where the charcoal barbeque is located. There is an entrance off this portion of the deck where there is access to the kitchen. The large firepit on the lawn is an ideal spot to end the day, relaxing in Muskoka chairs while enjoying a warm bonfire as the stars blanket the sky.
This bungalow style cottage offers two bedrooms. The first is the spacious master bedroom which includes a queen bed and a window air conditioner. As well, there is a desk and chair for anyone needing a workspace. The second cozy bedroom holds a double bed. The cottage is also equipped with a 4pc bathroom offering a tub/
shower combination.
A three-season bunkie is available mid-May to mid-September and offers additional sleeping for four with two double futons, a mini fridge, and a small desk and chair. The deck of the bunkie can be enjoyed as well as offering storage bins that house the lawn games and life jackets.
The Muskoka room offers a pull-out couch that converts into a double bed, a games table with four comfortable tub chairs, and two sofas, one being the pullout. This room is bright and airy with many windows that let in plenty of natural light and gives views of the lawn, the deck, and the river. French doors lead from the Muskoka room to the deck.
The kitchen/dining room is one big area including the necessities such as fridge, electric stove/oven, drip coffee maker, a stove top espresso maker, and a French press. There is also a microwave, kettle and the essential supplies for preparing meals. A prep table is located in the kitchen that also has three bar stools allowing for company while preparing any meal. A dining table is located in the kitchen area and seats 4-6. Extra chairs for this table can be found in this room.
The Great room off the kitchen is an inviting high ceiling quiet area offering a love seat as well as a three-seater sofa. It also has a corner wood-burning woodstove. The great room is a perfect spot for reading and conversation. The windows of this room overlook the Muskoka Room.
The cottage offers high speed internet and a 50-inch smart TV. The Bluetooth sound system is great while watching a movie on a stormy day or listening to your favourite music while making breakfast.
Bracebridge is a quaint small town in the Muskoka region which offers a variety of restaurants, boutique shops, and attractions. The nearby area offers a variety of public beaches and lakes. Santa s Village in Bracebridge is a short drive, making this cottage a perfect location for young families. The Muskoka Zip Lines and Aerial Park which surrounds Santa s Village, The Muskoka Brewery, and Kirby s Beach Park are just a few other places to visit. Huntsville, approximately a 35 40-minute drive, also has restaurants, some nightlife, shopping including a small mall, festivals, and a farmers market, as well as beaches and parks.

**Vacationer supplies their own linens: Sheets and pillowcases + Inside towels, kitchen towels and beach towels. Please inquire about other arrangements.
**Paper products: The cottage will provide enough to get you started, but vacationers must supply their own, including toilet paper and paper towels.
**Adult life jackets are supplied. Vacationers must bring their own life jackets due to safety and liability concerns
**Firewood for your first fire is supplied. Guests to purchase additional wood if needed. Please buy locally.
