Step outside onto the large deck through the sliding glass doors, and enjoy your breakfast, lunch and/ or BBQ dinner with a breathtaking view of the lake. Expect a friendly visit from neighbourhood chipmunks and hummingbirds.
We have everything you need to get away from the hustle and bustle! With a cedar dock extending 40 feet into the lake, an abundance of activities awaits you: soak in the sun; relax in Muskoka chairs with a good book; jump off of the dock and take a refreshing swim out to the raft; take advantage of the included kayak, pedal boat, canoe, and the two stand-up paddle boards and explore the lake.
Accommodating up to five guests, the cottage includes three bedrooms with various sleeping arrangements, including a queen bed, double bed, and a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single on the top.
The bright, open-concept living, dining and kitchen areas are inviting. Cook up delightful meals in the kitchen and enjoy cozy evenings curled in front of the Franklin fireplace. We have a library of over 125 DVDs for you to enjoy and a "Little Free Library" exchange where you can take a book or leave a book.
When you're ready to venture beyond the cottage, a five-minute scenic drive will take you to Dorset, where you'll find Robinson's General Store, your one-stop-shop for all your needs from worms to champagne. For the more adventurous, climb the lookout tower in Dorset for breathtaking views or make a short 25-minute drive to Algonquin Park, offering a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. (And yes, if you are wondering, fishing is also available right on Crane Lake!) Feeling more townish? A 30-minute drive will find you in Huntsville, shopping the boutiques or having lunch at a quaint restaurant by the water.

| Pam was an exceptional host. Her responses to our needs were very quick and we appreciated the personal touch she left for us when we arrived. My wife and I really enjoyed the kayaking on the lake the most. We didn't expect it to be so peaceful and quiet! And the paddle boards were very nice, my wife enjoyed doing yoga on those in the morning. All in all, a beautiful lake with a clean and cosy cottage. Thanks again, Pam.

| Our family had a fantastic stay at this cottage. As it's situated on a smaller lake (Sunken Lake) it was extremely quiet and peaceful. It was perfect for our older kids (14 and 12) who delighted in the use of the pedal boat, paddle board, and kayak. In fact our older son's "job" was to deliver beverages to my husband and I from the dock to the raft using the paddle board. The raft (which has pop up seat backs and drink holders) is an added highlight to this cottage. It was a great place for lounging and jumping off fun. The new deck/dock is very spacious and it's southern exposure allows you to sun all day.The cottage itself is absolutely lovely and has all the amenities you could possibly want. A great place to "unplug" and enjoy family time!

| My family absolutely adored this beautiful cottage. For the four of us, it was spacious, clean and had a stunning view of the lake! The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials and we really enjoyed BBQ dinners on the balcony. The kids loved to splash around on the paddle board and kayak while my husband and I relaxed on the dock or swam out to the floating raft. No boat traffic so it was very peaceful and quiet. Made you feel like you had the lake all to yourself! Good handful of attractions including Dorset Tower and Algonquin hiking trails made for excellent day trips. An all around great time!

| This is a truly lovely cottage and I would highly recommend it. It was spotless, comfortable and wonderfully quiet. It is conveniently located close to Dorset, wonderful Robinson's and fabulous Portico pizza when you simply can't find the motivation to cook! The one downside, if you have small children, is that there is no beach with a gentle access to the water but for bigger kids and adults, the dock, canoe, kayak and paddle boat and raft are great. Even with rainy weather and enough mosquitoes to make a stew (a very unusual year by all accounts), we enjoyed our time on Crane lake. Thanks!
